Biblion is a Bible you own. It works offline, it never asks for an account, and it never sends anything anywhere — there is no network code in it at all.
Eight texts on disk. Six English translations — the World English Bible, the King James Version, the American Standard Version, the Bible in Basic English, the Geneva Bible and Tyndale — with the Hebrew of the Westminster Leningrad Codex and the Greek of the Textus Receptus. Three are partial by design, and the app tells you which where it matters.
Study panes that follow the verse. Open the commentary, cross-references, Strong's, maps or measures beside the text. The pane follows the verse you are reading, or you can pin it to one and keep reading past it.
A commentary written for this app. All sixty-six books, 3,031 comments and an introduction to every book, from a sola-scriptura position and saying so.
See the translations disagree. The comparative view puts three texts on one sheet — including the Hebrew, right to left — and tints the words where they differ, so you can see the choice a translator made instead of guessing at it.
Word by word. The New Testament interlinear gives you the Greek under the English with its parsing. Strong's numbers sit under the King James text, and every occurrence of a word is one click away.
A sermon builder that leaves you your files. Quote scripture and commentary with the attribution written in, keep notes to yourself that never leave the editor, draft an outline from the passage's own structure, then print or export to Word, Rich Text or plain text. Sermons are plain text files in a folder you choose — not a database, not a cloud, yours to back up however you like. A pulpit view puts the sermon on a second screen at the size you set.
