Chat, voice notes and calls between Thai and your language, translated in place, side by side. When a message could mean two things, Khurak shows both and offers to ask. Khurak is a private messenger for people who speak different languages. From your first hello to years together, write in your language and read in yours. Keep the original close by, without copying messages into another app. MORE THAN A LITERAL TRANSLATION Thai carries meaning in particles, pronouns and what is left unsaid. When a message has more than one possible reading, Khurak explains the possibilities and helps you ask a gentle clarifying question. CHAT, CALL AND UNDERSTAND · Translate messages between Thai and your language in the conversation. Turn automatic translation on or translate a message when you need it. · Explore possible readings, tone and reply ideas. · Keep a shared lexicon for nicknames, in-jokes and words that mean something to you. · Send photos, voice notes and video messages. Translate received voice and video messages when automatic translation is enabled or you choose Translate. · Make voice and video calls, with optional live translated captions and spoken translation. Live translation requires both participants' consent. · Use Together mode for an in-person conversation with one phone on the table, or two phones and earbuds. · Use the Decoder for text or speech, including content shared from another app. PRIVATE BY INVITATION You bring the person. Khurak brings the language. Conversations begin with an invitation link or code. There is no public directory or stranger discovery. You can block and report another person and delete your account in Settings. We do not sell your data or run advertising. Translation and speech recognition process the content you choose to translate on our servers and with our service providers. You control automatic translation; live translation stays off until both participants agree. FREE AND OPTIONAL PLANS The free plan has no expiry and includes daily translation allowances. Sending messages is not metered by the translation allowance. Plus gives your account higher translation and Decoder allowances, more live translation minutes and additional features. Plus for both includes Plus for you and one person you choose from your conversations. Allowances remain per person. Both plans offer monthly and yearly billing. Current allowances and the price in your currency are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.
