What's new Wanaaasah Map: choose the number of rounds, from 1 to 10 - when you play against Wanaaasah, open a room for your friends, or send a link challenge. Phone number verification now works inside the app: from Account, the code arrives by SMS and you verify without leaving for the website. New question category: Esports. The games category is now called Video Games. Fixed an issue where the app sometimes asked you to sign in while you were already signed in. Plus assorted fixes and improvements.

What's new On iPad: the play screens of the Mines contest and the Millionaire game now fit the screen, and in landscape the buzzer room panel in the Millionaire game no longer covers the answer options. The buzzer panel buttons and the report button on questions are easier to tap on iPad. On iPad, category names now use the full width of the card instead of being cut off. Wanaaasah Maps: a much bigger list of places - hundreds of new cities and landmarks from around the world. New question category: Resident Evil. The app is also lighter, plus assorted fixes.

What's new "Wanaaasah Map" is a new game: a full-screen globe where you pick a country, city or landmark and drop your pin where you think it is - closest wins. Play against Wanaaasah, challenge a friend in a room they join by QR code or room code, or play with other people. Shankara is faster and smoother: screens change without jumps and taps respond right away, and the host can remove any player during a match by tapping their picture. Your name and character now reach your friends within minutes of changing them. In buzzer games, scan the room QR code while signed in and your name and character are filled in for you. Clearer invites and rooms: an invite card disappears when the host leaves the room, and a player removed by the host cannot come back with the same invite. New Top Ten lists and a new "YouTube" category. Plus one unified header on every page, smaller game-card badges on phones, and assorted fixes.

What's new "Where's the Ball?" is a new Arcade game: the ball hides under one of the cups in a traditional majlis, the cups shuffle, and you follow it until you find it. Play with friends or solo. The dressing room is now "Wanaaasah Backstage": a painted room with day and night lighting, with many new head items, hairstyles, facial expressions, shoes and colors. Your look shows on your account as soon as you approve it, and anyone who hasn't picked a look shows the default character everywhere. The eight question games (Millionaire, Mines, Matching, Tournament, Empire, Streak, Snakes & Ladders, Trab3): every category now appears in the category picker with its image, plus a new "Saudi National Team" category. Shankara now has sound effects and faster taps, the game filters include "No host needed", the "All categories" sheet is clearer, and the shop cards have a new look. Plus safety improvements on the presenter screen and phone buzzer, and fixes to the leaderboard, records and "Recent games" in Friends.

Fixes and improvements One ticket per game: starting a game from its details page right after "New game" could sometimes charge two tickets. Fixed. Clearer phone verification: a one-minute wait between code requests so your device is not blocked, and a clear message if it is. Stronger protection of your account data when signing in, and Huroof now saves play time even when a match is not finished.

New Shankara: a party bluffing game. Everyone writes a convincing wrong answer, everyone picks the one they think is right, and whoever fools the most players wins. Each player uses their own phone. My Questions: write your own questions, top-ten lists or survey questions, group them into a pack, and play them in Huroof, Top Ten, Feud or the multiple-choice games (Millionaire, Trab3, Snakes and Ladders, Matching and more), in Arabic or English, with an Excel template and a ChatGPT helper. Huroof in English: an A to Z board for presenters who ask their own questions. Plus improvements: iPad layouts, game invites at the top of the screen, clearer Masaqeel colors, a larger Timing countdown, and general fixes.

New: two complete games Top Ten: a team quiz on top-ten lists. The presenter shows a list title on a shared screen and players buzz in from their phones. Each item is worth its rank, so the tenth is worth ten points and the first is worth one. Two to six teams, buzzer or turn-by-turn, with a private presenter panel that shows the answers and lets the presenter judge from it. Answer Wrong: an arcade game with inverted rules, where a wrong answer scores and a right answer costs you, and the rules flip midway. Plus general improvements and fixes.

New: the Dressing Room Tap the pencil on your avatar in Account to open the Dressing Room: pick a body color and an inner color, and dress your character from the wardrobe. Save the look and it shows next to your name everywhere. New arcade game: Wanaaasah Maps A globe with real country borders. Each round is 3 pins: a country, a city, or a famous landmark. Play solo against Wanaaasah, 1 vs 1, or in teams. Easier sign-in: save your password on your iPhone and sign in with Face ID, and SMS verification codes now fill in automatically. For Saudi National Day on September 23, you can switch to the green Wanaaasah app icon, and switch back anytime from Account. Plus drawn icons instead of emoji, and general improvements and fixes.

Fixed the biggest annoyance: switching tabs quickly could make the app treat you as signed out, or show pages with no data — an empty account page and an arcade that wouldn't start a challenge. We found the root cause and fixed it: your account is now recognized within the first second, even on a weak or flaky connection. Plus improvements to connection stability and how fast your data appears.
