Arion EQ
Equestrian Coaching
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
A coach and a training plan for the days between lessons. Film a ride, get written feedback, and know exactly what to work on next.
You ride a few times a week. You have a lesson once a fortnight, if you're lucky. What happens in between is mostly guesswork...
Arion gives you feedback on the rides your coach doesn't see.
Film your ride, upload it, and you'll get a written coaching letter back; what your horse was doing, what to work on, and two or three exercises to ride next time, each with a clear sense of what it should feel like. Then it builds you a custom training plan to guide your rides and help you reach your goals.
GROUNDED IN WHAT'S ACTUALLY THERE
Arion measures what it can see in your footage; your horse's balance, how the hind legs are stepping under, where the nose is carried, your own position, and tells you plainly when the footage doesn't show enough. No vague praise, and nothing invented.
IT WORKS WITH YOUR COACH, NOT INSTEAD OF THEM
Record a lesson and Arion notes what your coach covered, then builds on it in your following sessions. It won't grade your instructor's work or contradict it. The point is to make the time between lessons count.
IT REMEMBERS WHERE YOU'VE COME FROM
Set goals for your horse and Arion tracks them ride by ride so you find out when the thing you've been grinding away at for a month has actually shifted.
BUILT FOR HOW PEOPLE REALLY RIDE
Dressage, jumping, eventing or general flatwork. Tell it what you worked on, add a note about how the ride felt, and your coaching takes it into account.
WHAT YOU GET
A written coaching letter for every ride you upload
A weekly training plan built around your goals
A coach you can ask questions about a particular ride or anything else
Your riding history in one place: every ride, every lesson, every goal

Ratings & Reviews

Clearer choices about your ride videos.
When you choose to share footage, you can now see exactly how it may be used — including helping Arion learn to recognise how horses and riders move. Sharing is optional, off unless you turn it on, and you can change it any time in Account. Turning it off never affects your coaching.
