Give every project a bookmark tab at the edge of your Mac. Pull it open for its files, folders, notes, documents, and videos, then tuck it away. Caddy puts pull-out project tabs on the edge of your Mac. Each bookmark-style tab carries one project's files, folders, notes, documents, and videos. Click a tab and its Caddy slides open beside whatever you are doing. Read a PDF, check a Word document, watch a video, take notes, or keep source material open beside Word, Pages, or another app. Click the tab again and the whole project tucks back into the edge. ONE TAB FOR EACH PROJECT Use a Caddy for a class, case, client, research project, reading list, writing assignment, or anything else that comes with a pile of files. Each Caddy gives you: • A Library for the files and folders connected to that project • Notes that stay beside the files they are about • Reading panes for documents and videos • A workspace you can arrange yourself • Room to keep two sources open side by side • A layout that returns exactly as you left it Caddy reads files where they already live. It does not copy or change them. CLEAR WHEN CLOSED Create and manage your Caddies from the menu bar. Dock them on the left, right, or top of the screen. Slide a tab wherever you want it, click it when you need it, then tuck it away without leaving another window on your desktop. MAKE IT YOURS • Give every Caddy its own color and effect • Choose colors for its panes • Slide tabs along the edge • Pull one free and throw it across the display • Turn on No Gravity Caddy and let the tabs float, drift, and bump into one another until you call one home PRIVATE BY DESIGN Caddy has no account, no analytics, and no network connection. It collects nothing. WHY I MADE CADDY Hello, my name is Blake. I built Caddy after law school, when one assignment after another left my desktop covered in files and windows. I wanted each assignment to have a place of its own that stayed quiet until I needed it. Caddy has carried me far. Whatever you are working on, I hope it carries you further. New in Version 1.2: • Fixed: closing a document could quit Caddy. • Added more room to read: Documents are given more real estate inside each workstation, which makes it easier to see full documents while taking up less of your screen. • Added a new color for your workstation panes. • Added an extra card to the introduction and fixed a bug where it would not automatically appear on some devices.
