WeatherMelody turns hourly Apple Weather data into a plan you can understand and act on.
FEEL
Each hour is classified into a plain-language physical feel: Comfortable, Humid, Muggy, Hot, Dry, Chilly, Windy, or Rainy. The classification uses available evidence such as temperature, apparent temperature, dew point, wind, and precipitation. If dew point is unavailable, WeatherMelody does not infer Humid, Muggy, or Dry.
TIMELINE
Adjacent hours with the same feel are joined into readable segments. Instead of scanning a temperature spreadsheet, you can see when the day changes—for example, Muggy → Rainy → Comfortable.
ACTION
The timeline is evaluated for useful time windows. Best outside identifies the strongest remaining stretch for outdoor plans. WeatherMelody Pro also shows when rain begins, when it turns cooler, the most muggy hours, and a conservative Drying Window when the evidence supports one.
EXPLAINABLE BY DESIGN
Tap a Feel Timeline segment to open Why this feel? and inspect the weather evidence, matched rules, confidence, and transition into that segment. Explore a Sample Day provides a fixed, clearly labeled synthetic walkthrough without using your location or a live forecast.
Home brings Current Feel, Today’s Melody, Today’s Action, and Tomorrow Melody together. When a successful fresh forecast meaningfully changes an action window or dominant Feel, What Changed explains the previous and current result. Hours plots temperature, apparent temperature, and dew point as an interactive trend, then keeps the selected hour’s Feel, explanation, and evidence together.
3-Day Plan covers today, tomorrow, and the following local calendar day with full Feel melodies. Free users receive tomorrow’s clearest Best outside window. WeatherMelody Pro unlocks the complete three-day action plan. Days 4–10 remain trend guidance rather than precise action promises.
Save places to use the app with location turned off. Widgets advance from cached Feel and action boundaries during the day. Apple Watch keeps Current and Action focused; when today has no remaining action window, it can preview tomorrow’s action.
Current Feel, Today’s Melody, today’s Best outside, three-day Melody overviews, and one clear Best outside for tomorrow are free. WeatherMelody Pro adds all three-day Rain begins, Turns cooler, Most muggy, Drying Window, full action details, and Pro alerts with an Annual subscription or Lifetime purchase.
Classification runs on device. WeatherMelody requires no account and operates no developer weather server.

WeatherMelody 1.3 adds privacy-safe Melody Cards for sharing Today, Tomorrow, 3-Day Plan, meaningful forecast changes, and Pro Drying Window guidance. Cards are rendered on device as JPEG images, include Apple Weather attribution, and never contain coordinates or device metadata. This update also improves sharing previews and macOS sheet controls while retaining Tomorrow Melody, What Changed, smarter widgets, Watch previews, and optional on-device reminders. No account, ads, or third-party tracking SDK are used.
