■ Live Activities See your progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island during a run, a stop alert or navigation. · Run: distance, moving time and pace · Stop alert: stops left, then "Get off now" when it is time · Navigation: distance to the next turn and time left They also appear automatically in the Apple Watch Smart Stack and in CarPlay (iOS 18 or later). They are made on your phone without any server, and disappear as soon as you finish or close the app. You can turn them off in Settings > Live Activities. ■ Map credit placement Fixed the OpenStreetMap credit covering buttons or hiding behind the bottom sheet with large text.

■ Running courses (new tab) Pick 3, 5, 7 or 10 km and get up to three courses that start and finish where you are. See toilets and signalised crossings along the course, and get voice guidance as you run. Runs stay on your phone and can be exported as GPX. All free. ■ More accurate stop alerts Alerts now go by the time left rather than the distance left, so "get ready", "next stop" and "arriving" come at the right moment. Blurry positions are double-checked, and the app tells you if you have passed your stop. Where location is weak, such as on the subway, it estimates from the scheduled travel time and marks the alert as estimated. With "Use location with the screen off" on (default), guidance and stop alerts keep working with the screen off, and location use stops as soon as you finish. ■ Location wording corrected Before asking for location permission, the app explains what location is used for and which map services receive coordinates. Nearby searches send coordinates rounded to about 100 m, and offline mode now stops map image requests too. ■ Also Fixed screens that were cut off with very large text, and added Traditional Chinese.
