The questions cover what kind of home it is, how it's heated, what your winters are like, and what it's built of. Questions that don't apply are skipped, and so are the tasks. No chimney, no chimney reminders the checklist is built around your house, not a generic one.

Today shows the short list of what's actually worth doing this month. Each task says in plain English why it matters, roughly how many minutes it takes, and whether it's a straightforward job, a judgement call, or the kind of thing to phone someone about. Everything you complete is written down, with your notes and the date. It builds quietly into a maintenance record for the house, useful for you, and for whoever buys it next.
CHECKLISTS THAT CHANGE WITH THE SEASON
A furnace filter, a gutter clean and a smoke-alarm battery don't belong on the same reminder in July as they do in October. Quarterday's checklists shift with the season and with your answers, so a condo without a yard never sees a lawn task and a home with no chimney never sees a chimney task. The reminders arrive close to when the job is actually due, not on a flat monthly repeat that ignores the calendar.
QUIET BY DESIGN
Six notifications a month, at most: one digest on the first, and one nudge on the tenth for anything still open. Homes with harsh winters get up to two extra reminders in October, reserved for freeze prep. That is the whole notification budget, and you can switch it off entirely.
