The slow part of an English textbook is rarely a single word. It is the page that takes half an hour to look up, and the chapter you have forgotten by the time you reach the next one. ReadPilot turns the English textbooks and paper PDFs you import into Chinese you can actually keep reading, one chapter at a time: paragraphs connect, figures and captions stay where they were, and a technical term is translated the same way from the first chapter to the last. When you want to check a passage, tap it and the English original is right there.
After importing, you see the whole book's chapter structure and start from the chapter you need. The reading column comes in Narrow, Standard and Wide, with a glossary and notes alongside; when you finish a chapter, Pro turns it into a quiz and flashcards, so review before an exam needs no separate notes. You can read a built-in sample chapter before importing your own file.
Pages that are not translated yet need an internet connection and a short wait. Finished translations are stored on your Mac for rereading. EPUB files, articles and subtitles open as original text, and some study features depend on the content type and your plan.
Plans are counted in pages. Only pages that translate successfully count toward your allowance, and pages you have already translated can be reread without limit:

• Standard: 400 pages a month
• Pro: 1,200 pages a month, plus chapter quizzes, flashcards and scanned-book recognition
The Mac App Store version uses Apple in-app subscriptions and can restore earlier purchases. Sign in to your ReadPilot account first so the subscription is linked to it. Subscriptions are available monthly or yearly; the price shown at purchase is the price you pay. They renew automatically unless you cancel before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
AI translation and study content can contain errors, so check important numbers and conclusions against the original. Translation and sync require an internet connection. Import only content you have the right to use.
