YOUR CHOICE OF AI
Translation and analysis run on your Mac by default, using Apple Translation and Apple Intelligence — free, with no data leaving the device. If you prefer, add your own Claude API key: Claude reads the whole listing and the reviews, so its findings are more specific, and it translates every App Store language within the character limits. Anthropic bills you directly for what you use.
HOW IT CONNECTS
StoreMetrics talks to the App Store Connect API with a team API key that you generate in App Store Connect (an Admin key gives access to every feature; “Sales and Reports” access is needed for sales data). The private key stays in your Mac’s Keychain and is never written to a settings file.

REQUIREMENTS
macOS 26 or later. On-device translation and analysis use Apple Translation and Apple Intelligence; analysis on Apple Intelligence needs a Mac with Apple silicon and Apple Intelligence turned on.
