SpeechBee turns your spoken words into clean text and puts it where you are writing. It removes filler words such as “um” and “uh,” learns names through your personal Dictionary, and expands spoken Snippets into saved text such as email addresses and links. When you would rather listen, share selected text with SpeechBee and hear it read aloud with a natural local voice. Listen to articles, messages, and other long passages while commuting, walking, or getting things done. SpeechBee works across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with local dictation in up to 99 languages. Dictation and Read Aloud require a SpeechBee subscription or lifetime in-app purchase after any available free trial. 1) WRITE WITH YOUR VOICE Use the Voice key on the SpeechBee keyboard while writing in Messages, Mail, Notes, and other apps. 2) CLEAN UP WHAT YOU SAY • Removes filler words automatically • Learns names and specialist terms through your personal Dictionary • Expands spoken Snippets into email addresses, links, and longer saved text • Supports spoken formatting commands 3) LISTEN INSTEAD OF READ Share selected text with SpeechBee to hear it with a local voice. Pause, change speed, or move between sentences. It is a simple way to listen to articles or long messages when reading is inconvenient. 4) PRIVATE BY DESIGN SpeechBee does not send microphone audio to a cloud transcription service. Read Aloud does not send selected text to a SpeechBee voice service. Microphone audio stays in memory and is not saved as a recording. Optional recent transcripts stay on your device. 5) WORKS ACROSS DEVICES If you enable iCloud sync, Dictionary corrections and Snippets sync through your private iCloud account. Audio, transcripts, and recent history are not included.
