Alerts that reach you, in your language, and stay calm. • Alerts arrive whether the app is open or closed: new messages, new cars that match a saved search, price drops on cars you saved, and cars listed for hire that match a saved rental search. Tap one to go straight to the right place. • Alerts come in the language you use in the app. • Calmer by design. A saved search tells you about a car once. A price drop is sent only when the price falls by 1% or more, and at most once a day per car. New-car and price alerts that arrive between 9 pm and 7 am (Kigali time) wait until 7 am. Messages always arrive straight away. • Choose how each saved search reaches you: instantly, or in a daily summary. • New: an optional daily summary of the cars listed that day, sent at about 6 pm and only on days when something new is listed. It stays off until you turn it on. • Turn alerts for new cars and price drops on or off in Settings > Car alerts. • The number on the app icon shows your unread messages and notifications. • Settings now tells you whether notifications are allowed on your phone, and "Send a test notification" lets you check in seconds. Also in this version • The app starts faster, and the last list of cars is already on screen while it refreshes. • A WhatsApp button next to "Message seller" when the seller accepts WhatsApp. • Clear messages in your language when you contact a seller or ask about a rental. • You can ask about a rental that starts today.

Rentals, rebuilt • Every rental car shows its Sawa Rental Check: documents and safety points checked by our team at the provider's yard. • See which days a car is already taken before you ask. • Send an availability inquiry and keep talking in the app, or continue on WhatsApp. Your number is shared only if you choose. Also new • Vehicle record: odometer readings from inspections and model safety recalls. • Korea market guide: what's for sale in Korea and asking prices. • Sign in with Google. • Fixes and speed improvements.

• Sign in with Apple or Google. No new password to remember. • New accounts add their phone number once, right after signing up. • Fixes and performance improvements.

Performance improvements and fixes.

Sawa Cars 1.0.6 is our biggest design update yet. • Dark mode: choose System, Light or Dark in Settings > Appearance. • A smoother feel: buttons, cards and tabs respond to your touch with gentle motion and haptic feedback. • Inspection scores, animated: the 150-point report now shows each car's score as a ring, with every category filling in as you read. • Easier to read: text follows your phone's text-size setting, and badges and tabs stay tidy at every size. • Cleaner car listings: prices, tags and details are laid out so nothing overlaps. • Fixes and performance improvements throughout. Sawa verifies sellers and inspects cars. Price, payment and handover are agreed directly between you and the seller.

What's New in Version 1.0.5: • Global Vehicle Imports: Explore vehicles available for direct import from South Korea, China, UAE, and Japan with transparent estimated landed costs and Rwanda customs duty estimates. • Faster Image Galleries: Upgraded high-resolution vehicle photo viewing with instant swiping and improved pre-caching. • Enhanced Search: Unified search view for local verified inventory and global on-demand vehicles. • Performance & Stability: Fixed an issue causing startup crashes on certain iOS devices, with smoother launch times and overall performance refinements.

• Real-Time Push Notifications: Get notified instantly when a saved car’s price drops, a seller messages you, a matching listing appears, or your rental inquiry status updates. • Full 6-Language Experience: Chinese (中文) is now supported alongside English, Kinyarwanda, French, Swahili, and Korean — with pure, natural phrasing across every screen. • Complete Localization Parity: Resolved an issue where parts of the account and seller screens stayed in English; your selected language now applies dynamically across the entire app. • Messaging Streamlining: Conversations with a seller now remain in a single unified thread, eliminating duplicate chats. • Inspection Reports: Fixed an issue where certain 150-point certified mechanical inspection reports failed to display. • Performance & Stability: Enhanced image gallery upload responsiveness and general reliability improvements.

Full app translation: Kinyarwanda, French, Swahili and Korean, alongside English. Rental listings show when a vehicle is temporarily unavailable. Reliability and translation fixes.
