Gloss: Read Spanish Books
Learn Through Real Stories
Only for iPhone
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Learn Spanish by reading real books; not word lists, not lessons. Ten classics, graded A2 to C2. Tap a word for the meaning in a sentence. Save it, then revise it in memory games until it sticks.
HOW GLOSS WORKS
• Start at a level you can read. Oz and Alice are adapted for beginners; Heart of Darkness is there when you’re ready.
• Read the real thing. Full chapters, not drills between you and the story.
• Tap instead of looking up. Phrases and names are translated whole, with audio, without leaving the page.
• Keep the ones worth keeping. Saved words and phrases become review games (matching, spelling, listening) built only from words you met in the book.
• Download a chapter and read it anywhere. Text, translations, and audio come down to the phone. Once it’s downloaded, every feature works offline.
THE COLLECTION
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Black Beauty, Treasure Island, The Call of the Wild, The Time Machine, The Turn of the Screw, The Island of Doctor Moreau, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Heart of Darkness.
