Point the camera at a finish line, arm the sensor, and the app catches the exact frame a subject crosses — logging the elapsed time to the millisecond. Unlike simple photo-finish apps, Photo Finish: Race Timer adds a microphone-based sound trigger for starter pistols and buzzers, a random-delay start to prevent anticipation, and full CSV + trigger-photo export — all offline, no account required.
