The weekly hours in your contract are optional; without them, Schichtklar suggests a monthly target from your own shifts after four weeks • “I only know my monthly salary”: Schichtklar works out your hourly rate from your gross monthly salary and weekly hours and shows you the calculation • Add your monthly target later: in the Hours tab, enter your weekly hours any time in the “Monthly target” sheet; without a target, Schichtklar shows no plus or minus • Public holiday premium per federal state (Pro): under “More” → “Public holidays”, pick your German federal state; the statutory public holidays of all 16 states are built in. It starts with the maximum tax-free rate under German § 3b EStG as a guide – set your own rate under premiums. Per calendar day the highest day premium counts, the night premium comes on top. Mark holidays that only apply in your municipality in the shift • Payday (Pro): after your first payslip, Schichtklar asks once when it usually arrives.
