New in 1.2 - Connect with OpenRouter: instead of typing an API key, sign in to OpenRouter – or create a free account there. ByoKey picks up the key automatically. - Start for free: with a free OpenRouter account you can use free models – with a daily limit, and provided your account allows their data policies. If your account has no credit yet, ByoKey shows only free models; you can change this in the model list. - New first steps: on first launch you choose between "Connect with OpenRouter" and "Enter your own API key". The button is also in Settings under OpenRouter. - Six more providers: Anthropic (Claude) directly, Scaleway and IONOS with processing in the EU (according to the providers), Vercel AI Gateway, Requesty and DeepInfra. - Custom server: connect ByoKey to Ollama, LM Studio or any other OpenAI-compatible server – for example on your Mac on the same network. No API key needed. - Your own prices: if a provider lists no price for a model, enter it yourself – touch and hold the model in the list. The cost display uses it. - More providers now deliver their prices with the model list: xAI, Together AI, Vercel, Requesty and DeepInfra. - For providers outside the EU, the consent screen now also explains the risks of the transfer. ByoKey therefore asks for your consent to these providers once more. - Clearer messages when free models reach their daily limit or are not enabled in your OpenRouter account. - Faster: the model list, sending and long chats respond more smoothly. - Fixed: content reports by e-mail now use the app's language.
