A calm, private place to share photos, videos, and everyday moments with friends and family — No algorithm, no strangers. Just your people. Plus convenient photo printing
Roots is a private home for your family's photos, videos, and memories — built to share with the people you stay in touch with.
No public feed. No strangers. No algorithm. Roots is a quiet, shared space for your household and the relatives you invite — a place to keep the moments that matter and stay close to the people you love most.
SHARE THE EVERYDAY, WITH ONLY YOUR PEOPLE
Post photos, videos, and little updates to a private family feed. Everyone you've connected with sees them — and no one else. You choose exactly which households can see what.
KEEP YOUR MEMORIES, BEAUTIFULLY
Turn a set of photos into a memory with a caption and a date. Look back through your family's story season by season, or see where moments happened on a private map built from your photos.
A LIVING STORY OF EVERYONE AT HOME
Every person — and every pet — gets their own timeline, filling in with the years as you tag them in memories. It's the family story you never quite get around to writing down.
HEAR FROM THE PEOPLE YOU MISS
Leave voice notes and captions. Comment on each other's memories. Roots is built around the rhythm of actually staying in touch — not performing for an audience.
REAL PRINTS, NOT JUST PIXELS
Members turn their favorite shots of the season into real photo prints, mailed to your door after the season closes — a physical keepsake, not just another folder on your phone.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your content is visible only to the households you connect with. You can report or block, disconnect anytime, and delete your account and its data whenever you want.
Roots is free to start. An optional membership adds seasonal keepsakes and extra storage, and ordering beautiful prints has never been easier.
