Fixes an issue where the Daily Ledger could keep showing the previous day's stories and photo until the app was force-quit.

The Weather tab now shows how much rain has actually fallen in the last 24 hours, and chances of rain are rounded the way a forecaster says them — 30%, not 32%. Every story in the Daily Ledger now shows its full summary instead of the first few lines. Legal Filings is now Daily Legal.

Weather at a glance: every forecast line now carries an icon — sun, clouds, rain, storms — with the chance of rain beside it, and on clear nights the moon shows its actual phase. Lists across the app now alternate light rows, like a spreadsheet. In Capitol Tracker, My Bills is now My Searches: follow bills by number and add up to five search terms of your own; both stay on your phone. Court filings from the Lubbock County District Clerk appear in Legal Filings with a copy button and a Look up shortcut to the county court portal. New optional alerts in Settings: Breaking news and Severe weather.

Lights Exclusives — our own reporting, now under a clearer name. Request a Record — our public-information request desk. Both live in Our Stuff, alongside Public Meetings, Legal Filings, and Capitol Tracker. Plus clearer labels on Legal Filings and optional "My Bills" alerts in Capitol Tracker.

Two new names, same app: The Ledger is now the Daily Ledger, and Latest is now LL Exclusives - our own reporting, front and center. Legal Filings: Lubbock County's public record, searchable. Browse marriages, divorces, probate, property and business filings day by day - now reaching back a full year, more than 55,000 records - and search by name, property or document number. My Bills, now with alerts. Follow any Texas bill in Capitol Tracker's My Bills and turn on action alerts: when a bill you follow moves, your phone tells you - "HB 123: Referred to Natural Resources." The check runs on your phone against our daily bill index; your list never leaves the device.

NEW: Legal Filings — Lubbock County's public records in your pocket. Browse each day's deeds, deeds of trust, foreclosure postings, liens, releases, business names, marriages and divorces, with every record linking to the official county document. Page back through the whole year with the calendar, filter by category with a tap, and search the entire archive by name, property or document number — with date-range filtering. Also in this update: Boards is now Public Meetings and Capitol is now Capitol Tracker, and the Broadcasts video strip is back on Our Stuff.

Two additions built for West Texas. Live Radar, upgraded: the Weather tab now carries our premium radar - live NEXRAD imagery with every National Weather Service warning and watch drawn on the map, storm tracks, and real-time tornado detection - the same radar we run at LubbockLights.com. Choose in Settings whether Live Weather opens to the radar or the forecast. Public Records: prompt us with the government documents you want to see - the invoices, the contract, the emails. Our public information experts write a request that conforms with the Texas Public Information Act, file it in our name, and publish your prompt, our request and the results - including the denials. Sending a prompt is anonymous. Find it in Our Stuff.

New: Capitol. What the Texas Legislature is doing that touches Lubbock and West Texas - committee hearings, bills and the local delegation, under Our Stuff. Follow any bill by number in My Bills; that list stays on your phone. Tap the info button to see exactly how the tab is built, including every keyword we use. Also new: an optional, anonymous usage-count share (Settings) that helps us report to the sponsors who keep the app free, and "How we build" notes for The Ledger, Boards and Capitol under About.
