iPhone
Listenry plays the audiobooks and music you already own.
Point it at the files on your phone and it organises them into something you can live in: books with chapters, albums with tracks, and one player underneath. Every file stays on your device.
A BOOK KEEPS ITS PLACE
Listenry remembers where you stopped in each book — which chapter, and how far into it. Open the app three days later and the book is waiting at the second you left it, at the speed you set for that book. Pause, and when you come back it steps back a few seconds first, because you lose the thread of a sentence while your hand is still moving.
M4B files keep their embedded chapters, so a twenty-hour single file is still a list you can jump around in, not something to scrub blindly.
MUSIC IS THE OTHER HALF
Albums, artists and every song, with shuffle and repeat where they belong — and never in a book, because chapter order carries meaning.
GETTING FILES IN
Import from Files or any storage provider, a folder at a time — or hand a file over with AirDrop. Listenry reads the tags, groups a folder into one book, and puts the chapters in order — including Chinese chapter numbering that digit-only sorting gets wrong.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
There is no store, no catalogue and no subscription. Listenry does not download, stream or sell anything, and it cannot open DRM-protected files such as Audible .aax.
FREE, AND WHAT PRO ADDS
Everything above is free: the whole library, imports, progress, speed, the sleep timer, search across your entire library, the smart lists (unfinished, recently played, newly added), backup and restore, and CarPlay.
Listenry Pro is one payment, once — no subscription, no account:
• Equalizer and sound presets
• Wi-Fi transfer, so a browser on your computer can send a folder of books straight to the phone
FORMATS
MP3, M4A, M4B, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, and AIFF.
PRIVACY
No account, no ads, and your audio is never uploaded — there is no server that holds it. The one thing that can leave your device is optional crash and usage diagnostics, and Settings has a switch to turn it off.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• The line under a song on the lock screen and in CarPlay now names the performer instead of repeating the album. Audiobooks still show the book's title.
• Labels a download leaves in a file name, like "(Official Music Video)" or "[HD]", are removed from titles, including the ones already on your shelf.
