A major BixLearn update is here, with more languages, more ways to practise, and a completely redesigned learning experience. 13 LANGUAGES. 26 COURSES. Learn Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, or Vietnamese from English — or learn English from any of those 13 languages. TALK WITH BIX — REBUILT Talk with Bix is now a real spoken conversation. Bix can ask about your day, suggest a topic, or follow whatever you want to talk about. He stays in the language you are learning throughout the conversation, while live subtitles appear word by word with a translation underneath. Need help? Tap the help button whenever you get stuck. LEARN MORE THAN ONE LANGUAGE You can now switch between multiple courses whenever you like. Each course keeps its own progress, vocabulary, streak, and position on the learning path. A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR ARABIC Arabic now supports a fully right-to-left interface, so the entire experience feels natural — not just the lesson text. NEW HOME SCREEN WIDGET Keep Bix, your streak, and your recent activity visible directly from your Home Screen. NEW TRANSLATE MODE Have a two-way conversation with someone who speaks another language. Place your phone between you and let each person read their side of the conversation. PROGRESS THAT FOLLOWS YOU Sign in to sync your learning across devices. Your lessons, words, streaks, and progress are merged safely when you move between devices. CLEARER PRONUNCIATION GUIDES Pronunciation support has been improved for Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Arabic, and Italian, using learner-friendly romanisation where appropriate. REDESIGNED THROUGHOUT BixLearn has a refreshed visual style with new colours, typography, artwork, and updated Bix illustrations. The learning path has also been redesigned as a journey that opens where you left off. FASTER AND MORE RELIABLE We have improved startup speed, audio responsiveness, memory use, and overall stability, while fixing several crashes and performance issues. Thanks for learning with Bix. More improvements are on the way.
