The commentary called “Lüzu Explains” is a modern editorial interpretation using Lü Dongbin as a literary narrator, not a historical quotation. You can hide either explanatory layer while keeping the original visible. LISTEN TO THE LAYER YOU CHOOSE Each original passage, plain-language rendering, and modern explanation has its own audio button. Play a whole chapter in sequence, only its plain-language layer, or only its modern commentary. Adjust playback speed directly. Audio is included for offline listening. A READER MADE FOR CHINESE TEXT Distinct type styles, adjustable text size and spacing, a night-reading theme, bookmarks, and on-device reading progress support unhurried reading on iPhone and iPad. Text, illustrations, comics, and narration work offline. AN OPTIONAL QUIET PAUSE The reading room includes one optional session: a spoken introduction followed by three quiet minutes and a closing chime. Pause or leave at any time. There are no scores, streak requirements, or claims of spiritual attainment. No account, ads, or third-party analytics or tracking. All classical learning content is free.
