New in the editor: the route catalog. Tap a player and pick a ready-made route such as Go, Slant, Out, Post or Wheel. It replaces the current route. You can also save your own routes as templates. Printing now supports 12 plays per insert, neatly in two rows.

On the team page, an open invitation showed the share button and the revoke menu on top of each other. They now sit side by side.

The editor now speaks your language everywhere. A handful of buttons and field labels had stayed German in English, Spanish, French and Italian, right in the middle of signing up and when playing back a play. The iPad screenshots are newly laid out, with a headline instead of a raw capture.

Coaching mode is here. You stand on the sideline, tap the play, and it shows up on your quarterback's Apple Watch. Line a few up in advance and one tap on the watch brings out the next one. The first time you switch it on, we walk you through calling a play in four steps. The scanner is gone. On hand-drawn sheets it guessed far too often, and a half-read play helps nobody. On the free plan, the DEMO notice now covers the whole printout.

The subscription now lives in your account instead of under the club. One Apple account carries one subscription, and it belongs to one club permanently -- "Manage subscription" says which. The large buttons now respond across their whole area, not just on the text. Plus smaller corrections to the purchase flow.
