Arroz is what keeps the house running: it shows who owes what among the people you share your life with, and keeps your month in order.
SPLIT
Household groups — the people you live with, fixed bills, month after month — and trip groups — temporary, many expenses in a few days, settled at the end.
• You join a group with a six-letter code, never by email.
• You can add someone by name alone, before they even have the app; they claim that spot when they join with the code.
• Three ways to split: equally, by exact amounts, or charged to one person.
• Balances are recalculated instantly, and the settle-up screen shows the smallest number of transfers that clears the group.
• The history records who added, edited or deleted each expense, and nobody can rewrite it.
• Currencies never mix: each one carries its own balance.
MONTH
Your personal budget: what comes in, what goes out, categories, accounts and recurring rules.
The contents are private. Your entries, categories and amounts stay on your device, never reach a server, and are shared with nobody. To carry your month to another device, the app exports a file itself.
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
• It does not move money. It works out who owes whom; the transfer happens between people, outside the app.
• It has no advertising tracker and no ad SDK, and builds no behavioural profile to sell to anyone.
• It shows no ads and sells nobody's data.
• It does not ask for contacts, location, camera, photos, microphone or calendar.
• It never asks for anyone's email in order to invite them.
• It stores no card or bank account details.
And one thing it does do: it records anonymous actions — that the app was opened, that an entry was created — so we know what to improve. Never amounts, never descriptions, never names. You can switch it off in Profile at any time.
FREE AND PRO
The app is free. On the free plan your month holds up to 20 one-off entries and 3 recurring rules, and you create 1 group. Joining someone else's group is unlimited, always: nobody who just installed Arroz to settle a bill ever hits a limit.
Arroz Pro lifts the ceilings, with three days free to try it. Monthly or yearly, and you cancel in iPhone Settings whenever you like.

Two new things in the Split tab.
Split by percentage: when one of you earns more, the bill doesn't have to be halved. Agree on the group's proportion once, say 60% and 40%, and every new expense opens with it, each person's amount worked out beside their share.
The month closes itself: once nobody owes anybody, the month is put away and the expense list starts over empty. Nothing is deleted. What has been paid stays in Closed periods, and you can reopen it.
