Every country in the world, in your pocket — and it works with no signal at all. Worldly is a reference to all 197 countries and territories: the capital, the population, who currently leads it, the public holidays and what they mark, and the history that got it there. The whole thing ships inside the app, so it is exactly as useful on a plane as it is at home. SEARCH THAT KNOWS CAPITALS TOO Type a country, a capital, a region or a country code. Accents and capitalisation do not matter — "turkiye" finds Türkiye, "Nairobi" finds Kenya. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Works completely offline — nothing is fetched while you read • No ads • No account, no sign-up, no password • Nothing behind a paywall • Light and dark, and you choose which section a country opens on ABOUT THE DATA Figures were compiled as of May 2026 and cover the 193 UN member states, Vatican City, Palestine, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Populations are estimates and office-holders change, so the app shows you the date the data was compiled — you always know how fresh it is. Spot something out of date? Tell us, and it will be corrected in the next update. PRIVACY Your bookmarks and settings stay on your device. There is no account, and whatever you type into the search box is never sent anywhere. Anonymous usage data can be switched off in Settings.

Ratings & Reviews

Adds crash reporting, so faults get found and fixed faster. A crash report contains a stack trace, the device model and OS version — never anything about what you were reading: no country, no search, no bookmark. It is covered by the same Settings switch as usage data, and turning that off stops both. Nothing else changes. The reference is still entirely offline.
