Hangeul Cubs
Korean batchim, made friendly
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The hardest part of reading Korean isn't the alphabet — it's batchim, the little "bottom block" that changes a syllable's sound. Most apps skip it. Hangeul Cubs is built around it.
● LEARN WITH THE TIGER SIBLINGS
Aari, Rami, Kkobi and Daho walk you through the 7 batchim sounds with real words, one friendly lesson at a time.
● HEAR EVERY SOUND
Tap any syllable to hear it spoken in a real Korean voice — powered by your device's built-in Korean text-to-speech.
● PLAY, DON'T MEMORIZE
Quizzes, matching games, XP, streaks and hearts keep practice light. Finish lessons to unlock review mode and the Batchim Sound Chart.
● WORKS ANYWHERE
100% offline. No account, no ads, no tracking, no network at all. Perfect for studying on a plane, on a bus, or anywhere in the world.
Made for K-culture fans, travelers, heritage learners, and families learning Korean together.
