• Data sources are now clearly shown: drying verdicts are calculated from Visual Crossing and Apple Weather data, with a link to Apple's data source information in Settings > About.

Added a strong-wind alert for outdoor drying, plus fixes to make the drying advice more consistent and easier to follow.

Better with drizzle. The app used to read only the chance of rain, so a 0% reading during real drizzle still counted as a drying day. It now reads measured rainfall as well, so light rain is picked up. Today's row in the 7-day plan now agrees with the garment advice. When there is not enough daylight left to dry even a light shirt, it says Not advisable instead of Marginal. Sportswear keeps the same drying time; its Chinese name now says quick-dry, to match.

• Fixed the drying index caption: a day marked unsuitable no longer carries a positive comment. • The drying index subtitle now states that the score covers today's drying hours. • After sunset the daily report says the drying hours are over, instead of advising on hours that have passed. • The damp/condensation notice now always states that it describes current conditions. • A "Low" UV reading is now shown in a neutral colour, with improved text contrast.
