Point your phone at the barcode on the back of a book and it is catalogued: title, author, publisher, page count and cover, filled in for you. My Book Archive is a catalogue of the books you actually own. • Scan an ISBN and the details arrive on their own • Correct anything that came out wrong — your edits are kept, and a later re-scan will not undo them • Record where each copy is kept, using your own words for the rooms in your home • Organise by genre — the list is yours, and you can change it whenever you like • Note who borrowed what, and see it at a glance on the shelf • Mark what you own, what you are reading, what you have finished, and what you still want • Rate, annotate, and search by title, author or publisher • Reach the same collection from your phone and from the web WITH FRIENDS, ONLY IF YOU WANT You can start a group and search one shelf made of everybody's books — and find out that the book you were about to buy is already two streets away. It is off unless you turn it on, and nothing leaves your account until you do. Before joining a group you read, in full, what the others will see, and your notes, your rating and the room a book is kept in stay private either way. Leave whenever you want. Free up to 50 titles, with every feature. Beyond that, My Book Archive Pro lifts the limit — monthly or yearly. What you catalogued stays yours even if you stop. Available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Terms of Use (Apple standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• Add a book by photographing its cover: for volumes too old to have a barcode, the printed words are enough to find it — and the photograph becomes its cover. • You can set the cover yourself: from an address, from a file, or by taking it. We now keep it, so it does not vanish along with the page it came from. • The shelf loads a piece at a time rather than all at once: it scrolls on a phone, it pages on the web. • Every book has its own address, and reloading no longer sends you back to the index. • A record appears as soon as one source answers and fills itself in behind you. If the barcode says nothing, we search by title. • The ISBN can be corrected and pasted, genres are in alphabetical order, and every book carries the date it arrived and the date it last changed. • Tap a cover to see it as wide as the screen. • A dropped connection no longer closes the app: it says what happened and lets you try again. • On a shared shelf you can report a book that should not be there.
