Pixel Panic is a compact image toolkit that lives in your Mac menu bar and starts from Finder. Right-click one or more images to: • Resize by width, height, percentage, free dimensions, or maximum bounds • Reduce file size with three optimization levels • Convert between JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and BMP • Keep or remove GPS, camera, copyright, and contact metadata • Create ready-sized covers for Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat articles • Reframe subjects automatically, then fine-tune position and scale • Edit with supported third-party AI services using your own API credentials (not available on the China mainland storefront) Local edits are processed on your Mac. Before replacing an image, Pixel Panic validates the result, renames the original with a timestamped backup, and puts the new image at the original path. Covers and AI results are saved as new files, so the source stays untouched. AI credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain. Requests go directly from your Mac to the provider you configure; the developer does not proxy requests or receive your API keys. Pixel Panic has no Dock icon and stays out of the way until you need it.
