Thirty minutes. That is usually all that separates the Korea on every itinerary
from the Korea people actually live in.
You will go to the famous places — you should. But a short ride past them there
is a fishing village with no English sign, a coast road nobody photographs, a
workshop that has been open for forty years. KOGO exists to put those within
reach of wherever you were already going.
HOW IT WORKS
Start from a place you already plan to visit. KOGO connects it to the lesser-
known places around it and shows you what is worth the detour — with a Hidden
Score on every card telling you how little-known it actually is.
TRAVEL LIKE SOMEONE WHO LIVES THERE
Around each place: where locals eat, what else is nearby, where to stay, and
which festivals are running while you are in town.
THE DRIVER CARD
The problem nobody solves: you cannot read Korean, and your driver cannot read
the English name. Tap any place for a card with the Korean name in large type,
the Korean address, a copy button and the coordinates — plus buttons that open
KakaoMap, Naver Map or Google Maps.
CURATED ROUTES
Themed seasons where each stop is an episode and the order is the route itself.
Follow one end to end, or take a single stop as a half-day detour.
WHY THESE PLACES
Many of them appear in something you have already watched — a drama scene, a
variety show episode, an album jacket. That is often how a quiet place first
gets noticed, and it is a good reason to go while it is still quiet.
PASSPORT
Check in when you arrive and it stamps your passport. Regions fill in on the
atlas as you travel.
FAN NOTES
Leave a note where you have been, and read what other travellers left behind.
BUILT FOR VISITORS
• Full interface in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese
• Korean names shown alongside, because that is what you need on the ground
• No account needed to browse — sign in only to save, check in or write notes
PRIVACY
KOGO does not ask for your location, does not use advertising identifiers and
runs no third-party analytics.
Place information comes from the Korea Tourism Organization open API and other
public datasets, combined with editorial curation. Opening hours and access can
change without notice — please check locally before you travel.
Ratings & Reviews

Say it in Korean
Your driver can now hear the destination, not just read it. Open any place,
tap the taxi card, and the new button reads the Korean name and address out
loud — no data connection needed, so it works in the back of a cab. The button
appears on devices that have a Korean voice installed.
Smoother video clips
Clips now open in a player you can close with one tap. Go full screen and the
video turns sideways to fill the display.
