**A new Home** Home opens with the conversations you were in the middle of, featured businesses you can search right there, and friends who are already on Central. **Groups in a few taps** In New message, tap the people you want and start: one person opens a chat, several open a group. A quick group names itself after the people in it, and the list shows only people who are on Central. **Follow businesses** Follow a business to keep its updates close. The ones you follow carry a Following badge in the Businesses tab. **Articles** Read longer posts with images and tables right inside the chat. **Share from other apps** Send photos, files and audio to Central from any app's share sheet. Share your location by picking a spot on a map, and share a contact from a simple sheet. **Calls** Calls work with your iPhone's phone system: one call at a time, and a Central call and a regular call never step on each other. Answering from a locked phone connects faster, and the call timer starts when you actually hear the other person. **AI assistants** Some people now have an AI assistant that can answer for them. A robot badge on its picture tells you you're talking to an AI. **Your accounts at a glance** Unread messages from the business accounts you answer for show up in red, wherever you are, and the account switcher shows each account's count. **Notifications from Central** News from Central now lives in your chat list, and notifications show images and play voice notes. **Faster and smoother** The app opens faster, the tab bar uses iOS's new Liquid Glass look, GIFs and stickers play inline, and photos you send to businesses arrive in a format every system can open.

**Threads** Keep a side conversation from burying the main one. Start a thread on any message in one tap, in groups and one-to-one chats. Threads show up in your chat list, a new reply brings its conversation to the top, and the conversation's owner can archive a thread once it's done. **Polls** Ask the group and get an answer. Create a poll or a quiz, see who voted for what, and keep every vote private to the people in the chat. **Answering for a business, as a team** Switch accounts from a button right above the tab bar. The accounts you answer for show their unread messages wherever you are. Each reply shows your teammates who wrote it, while the customer sees the name the business chooses. Your language and appearance stay the same when you answer as a business. **Your phone numbers** Add more than one phone number to your profile, so people can find you by any of them. **Invite people in** Invite a contact with a link that opens a sign-in made for them. Contacts who aren't on Central yet get their own card with an invite button. Add a contact by typing their number or scanning their QR code. **Find businesses** The Businesses tab opens with the accounts you already talk to, then featured businesses in your country. Search reaches other countries too, and verified businesses carry a badge that explains what it means. **Photos, videos and documents** Documents open inside the app instead of the share sheet. Videos open in the photo viewer — swipe between them, drag down to close. Saved images keep their original quality. **Calls** New ringtones, a call screen you can swipe down to keep using the app, and you can watch a screen someone shares from their computer. A ring stops as soon as the call ends anywhere else. **Notifications** Tapping a notification opens the right chat in the right account. Voice notes play straight from the notification, and messages show the sender's photo. **More reliable** The app reconnects by itself when your network comes back, and tells you while you are offline. The Devices screen tells you which device is which. Plus many fixes so your encrypted messages open on every one of your devices.

**Calls that actually ring** Voice calls now ring on your iPhone's own call screen, even when Central is closed or the phone is locked. Answer straight from the lock screen, like any other call. **Notifications that say what was said** Notifications now show the real message instead of "New message". They are decrypted on your iPhone, so the text stays private on the way there. **One app, all your accounts** Answer as yourself or on behalf of a business you work with. The account switcher has arrived on the phone: tap to swap, and every screen shows which account is answering. **Notifications from Central** A new inbox at the top of your chat list for what happens outside a conversation — invitations to answer for a business, verification results. Accept or decline in place, and archive what you have dealt with. **Businesses, faster and closer to home** The directory opens on the businesses in your country, and now loads in one request instead of eleven. **Video that sends fast** Videos are compressed on the device before they go, with a progress overlay and a Stop sending button. Photos and videos can also be saved to your device. **A better chat** • Long-press a message to lift it out of the thread • Paste an image straight from the clipboard • Attachments open from the + button • Replies size their own bubble, maps go edge to edge, and long messages lay out properly • Failed messages retry themselves, and say when they are waiting for a connection **Your profile** Personal accounts now have an @username. A new photo cropper — move and scale — works everywhere you pick a picture. **Something to say from the start** An empty conversation with a business offers openers such as "I'd like to ask about prices" or "Where are you located?", and shows that business's welcome message. **Links that land** A central.chat address now opens the app directly on that profile. **Sign-in and devices** Phone numbers from every country are accepted — the old 30-country list is gone. Up to five phones per account, and signing in on a new one never signs out a phone you still use. **Speed and stability** Faster cold start, a splash screen that hands over cleanly, taps that no longer get swallowed while the app loads, and a contact list that stops reloading every time you return to the app. Plus many fixes to encrypted-key delivery, so your messages open on every one of your devices.
