Getting started is faster. Tap the cities you've been to and your map fills in — no permissions, ten seconds. Then, only if you want, let wandr find the trips in your camera roll. Share cards now carry your @handle, so a card in a group chat leads back to you. Plus the usual fixes.

Fixes a stretch of empty space on the You tab: cards that had nothing to show — no pending follow requests, no anniversary that day, no city guide ready yet — were still holding their place on the page instead of stepping out of it. Everything new in 1.1.0 is still here: your trips found from your camera roll, a friend's map you can actually look into, and Travel Insights, City Guides and Milestones for wandr+ members.

Your trips, found for you. wandr can now read your camera roll and work out the trips you've already taken — where you went, which days, and the places worth pinning. It reads a fraction of your photos to do it, so it finishes in seconds, and every bit of it happens on your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Also new: • A friend's map opens properly now — tap any pin to see their photos, notes and rating, and their travel summary. • Photos open as a postcard, with the place and date on them. • A fresh look throughout: softer surfaces, clearer type, steadier motion. wandr+ members get three new things: Travel Insights (your streaks, your busiest year and month, where your places really cluster), City Guides you can send to a friend who's about to visit, and Milestones as you pass them. Building trips from your photos stays free for everyone.

Fill in your map Been to thirty places and got none of them down? Tap them off a grid — or search any city — and they all land on your map at once. No forms, no photos required. You can add the details later, whenever you feel like it. Also in this one: • Signing in with Apple now tells you what actually went wrong instead of guessing • Places in French Polynesia, Eritrea, Curaçao and a few other spots now count toward your countries and continents properly • Fixed an edit made offline reporting itself as failed when it had actually saved

• A new Friends page: see who you follow and who follows you, answer follow requests (and see the ones you've sent), and plan trips together • Your feed now shows posts from the people you follow • Explore is faster — places appear instantly and stream in as you browse • Steer Explore with "More like this", "Near here", or around your current location • Privacy hardening for private accounts, plus many small fixes
