Your library, month by month The home screen now shows every month of your photos, grouped by year. Pick up last month or the summer of 2019 in a single tap. Included in the free plan. More room for your photos The sorting screen has been redesigned: photos now fill much more of the screen, and a Pause button takes you to your selection at any time. A reworked introduction Four animated screens show you the swipe and the goal instead of describing them.

This release sharpens the first run and the moments that matter most while cleaning. • Reworked onboarding: photo library access is now requested on its own screen, after we explain what Giga does, and doesn't do, with your photos. • Clearer challenge screen: storage amounts are finally readable at a glance, and it's obvious a challenge is something you can start again whenever you like. • Longer undo: the "Put one back" drawer now reaches 40 deletions instead of 10, and tells you when it hits its limit. • The "Goal reached" and deletion-complete screens now animate as they appear. • New "Rate the app" entry in Settings. As always: no photo ever leaves your iPhone, and nothing is deleted without your confirmation.
