Jumpbar - Search Shortcuts
Custom search engine keywords
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Type a keyword before your search and Safari jumps straight to that site's results. Works with any site you add. No account, no tracking, no ads.
Type "yt cats" in the Safari address bar and land on YouTube results.
No search page in between, no extra tap.
Jumpbar adds keyword shortcuts to Safari. Type a short keyword, a space, and what you are looking for. Safari goes straight to that site's search results.
What is free: ten keywords or more - eight built-in ones (more in some regions), one site you add yourself, and one keyword of your own on a built-in site. Adding more sites, or giving one site several keywords, needs Jumpbar Plus - a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
ADD ANY SITE
Paste or type the search address and mark where the words go. If you do not know the address, open the short guide right under the field: search the site once for a given word, come back, and the app works the rest out from what you paste.
SEVERAL KEYWORDS FOR ONE SITE
Give a site more than one keyword so you never switch keyboards mid-search. Korean typists can use hangul initials; any script works the same way. You can add your own keyword to a built-in site too - type y instead of yt if that suits your fingers. The first one is free.
BUILT IN FOR WHERE YOU ARE
The starter set follows your language and your region, because those are not the same thing. Wikipedia opens in your language and Amazon opens in your country's store. Korean devices also get Naver, Namuwiki and Coupang; Japanese ones get Rakuten and Yahoo Chiebukuro; German ones get Kleinanzeigen; Indian ones get Flipkart. Turn off the ones you do not want and they drop to the bottom of the list.
WORKS IN SHORTCUTS
Run a search from the Action button, a widget, Siri, or an automation. Your sites show up in the Shortcuts editor, so you pick from a list instead of typing a keyword.
A GALLERY TO START FROM
Browse ready-made keywords on our site and add one with a single tap. Every address there was checked against the live site.
YOUR SEARCH WORDS STAY PUT
The extension only does anything on search engine result pages. On every other page it checks the hostname and stops. Your search words are compared inside the browser and never leave your iPhone. No account, no analytics, no ads.
SYNC IF YOU WANT IT
Plus can keep your keyword list on your own Apple Account, so your sites show up on every device. Off until you turn it on, and turning it off removes the copy. Search words are never part of it.
FREE AND PLUS
The built-in keywords, one site of your own, and one keyword of your own on a built-in site are free, forever. Jumpbar Plus is a one-time purchase that removes the limit on how many sites and keywords you can add, and turns on iCloud sync. Not a subscription.
