Welcome to Soul Jam - a word game by Ikoni Studio. In this game players construct words of various sizes based on the letters provided. This game is an excellent way to strengthen your vocabulary and keep your mind sharp!
GAME PLAY
Players are presented with a set of letters (3 to 8 letters) which they use to create a specific set of words (4 to 10 words). The words will range in size from a minimum of 3 letters and a maximum of 6. If a player gets stuck they can use the Bonus Letter to add an additional letter to the set or the Soul Star to get a puzzle solution word. Players must be strategic with their use of Soul Stars and Bonus Letters because the quantities are not unlimited. Also, there will be games which allow for duplicate letters in words (e.g. “look”, “peel”, “solo”) as well as games where some of the letters in the words will be pre-populated.
There are three game levels to select from: Easy, Classic and Genius. Each level increases the level of difficulty. In both Classic and Genius game modes the difficulty level will increase or decrease based on the player’s wins and losses.
WORD OF THE DAY
Each day players are presented with the Word of the Day and its definition. If the player uses the Word of the Day as a solution word a bonus will be awarded.
MINI JAMS
You can boost your score and earn Soul Stars and Bonus Letters via the game’s Mini Jams. There are four Mini Jams in total: Noun You Know It!, Mystery Letters, What’s My Name? and Verbs the Word.
MINI JAMS - NOUN YOU KNOW IT!
In this Mini Jam game you will be presented with 4 nouns. You must match all 4 nouns to their correct definition. This is a great opportunity to increase your score as well as increase your vocabulary!
MINI JAMS - VERBS THE WORD
This Mini Jam game is the same as Noun You Know IT!, except you are matching verbs to their correct definition.
MINI JAMS - MYSTERY LETTERS
In this Mini Jam game you will be presented with the opportunity to select 4-5 mystery letters. Once the letters are overturned you must use those letters to create a 3 or 4 letter word.
MINI JAMS - WHAT’S MY NAME?
In this Mini Jam game you are provided a mix of letters and up to 4 clues. You must use the clues to unscramble the name of the person the clues are referring to.
