Rondio is a player for the music files already on your iPhone and iPad.
Just register a folder you can see in the Files app, and songs you ripped from CDs and songs you bought all play as one library, no matter where they are stored.
And shuffle actually shuffles. One pass plays every track exactly once, and the same artist never comes up twice in a row.
Note: playing multiple folders as one library, and the even shuffle, are both Premium features. Free to try for 14 days.
■ Importing is just picking a folder
• Register any location visible in the Files app, on the device or in the cloud (songs kept in the cloud are downloaded to the device before playing).
• Pick one parent folder and every song beneath it comes in.
• Up to 10 folders can be registered. Registering itself is free.
• Track information is read in the background, and songs appear in the list as they are read. There is no need to wait for it to finish.
■ No duplicate copies
• Rondio reads your original files instead of making copies inside the app.
• You never hold the same song twice, so none of your storage is wasted.
• Rename or reorganize your files and your play counts and favorites follow along.
■ Your Music app songs, in the same library
• Songs in the device's Music app are handled just like a registered folder.
• Ripped songs and purchased songs mix freely, without you having to think about where they came from.
• Please note: songs streamed from Apple Music (subscription songs) cannot be played, as they are protected. Purchased downloads and songs you imported yourself are supported.

• Background playback and Lock Screen controls are supported.
• Choose what to play from all songs, a playlist, an album, an artist, a genre, or a decade.
• For each of those, choose in the moment whether to play in order or shuffled. (Rondio Shuffle — the one that doesn't clump — is Premium.)
• Favorites, playlists, and search are supported.
• Dark Mode is supported.
• On iPad, both orientations and multitasking are supported.
■ Rondio Premium (one-time purchase)
Rondio is a one-time purchase. A single payment unlocks the following two things. There is no monthly or yearly subscription.
[1] Rondio Shuffle (no clumping, no repeats)
• The moment you press shuffle, the order of every track in the selected range is decided in advance. One pass plays every track exactly once.
• Tracks you haven't heard yet come up sooner.
• The same artist never plays twice in a row.
• Your favorites are spread evenly through the pass.
• You can also shuffle by album, which shuffles only the album order and keeps each album's track order intact.

• Registered folders and Music app songs play together, across every location.
• Albums, artists, and playlists all work across your entire collection at once.
■ What you can do without buying
The player itself works without limits, whether or not you buy.
• Play one of your registered folders, or the songs in the Music app. You can switch which folder plays at any time from Settings.
• Playback, lists, search, favorites, playlists, and background playback all work as they are. There is no song limit, no advertising, and no time limit.
■ Pricing
• A 14-day trial comes before any purchase. Every feature is available to try, exactly as it is.
• When the trial ends, everything described above stays available with no time limit. Imported songs, favorites, and playlists are never deleted. Only the number of folders you can play from is limited to one.
• If you like it, one payment unlocks every feature, with no expiration.
• After changing devices or reinstalling, "Restore Purchases" brings it back.
■ Privacy
No account is required. Track information and play counts stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
There is no advertising of any kind.
