Opening a new league now starts clean: videos and tagged clips from the previous league are no longer carried over. New button in the Clip List to remove clips that do not belong to the open league. Import League: after importing, the first team of the league is selected correctly. Previously the app could show the "Add your first team" screen even though the league had been imported. VDM for Players: wording made consistent across all languages.

VDM for Players — your team's space. The app now builds your team's folder on Google Drive and fills it: one folder per player with her own booklet (photo, averages, advanced stats, what she does most), the team booklet with faces and plays, and the opponent pack. Saturday: scouting report, the opponent's personnel and her players' video clips, all in one folder. Tuesday: the mistake clips, each one in the folder of the player who has to watch them. Twelve languages. Your team, and who you are studying. One bar at the top: YOUR TEAM and PICK OPPONENT. You choose your team once and it stays. Picking an opponent turns Personnel, Playbook, Plays and Video into hers, and the scouting report is your team against her. Picking yourself means you are reviewing your own mistakes. Stats import: if the numbers you are importing belong to a different team than the one you are putting them in, the app tells you before writing them.

WRITE IN THE SHEETS THE WAY YOU WANT In the Scouting Report and in the Personnel you now choose the font of one word or of all of them, and add bold, italic and underline. Twenty fonts, each with its Windows twin, so the sheet you send a colleague comes out the same on their screen. The font is embedded in the PDF as well. - select a word and the small bar appears right beside it: B, I, U, the font menu, A- and A+ to make one word smaller or larger - two commands at the top that are not the same thing: Sheet changes the paper, Zoom only changes what you see while you work - the magnified sheet scrolls, and you can move it by holding and dragging, like a map - Tab and Shift-Tab move between the boxes, Enter carries on, Esc leaves a box keeping what you wrote - Cmd-B, Cmd-I, Cmd-U (Ctrl on Windows) for bold, italic, underline - paste is always clean: notes copied from Word come in as text, without dragging in fixed sizes and colours - it changes only what comes out on paper, not the rest of the program EDIT VIDEO - trim a clip after you have already cut it. The scissors on each row move the start and the end in steps of 0.2 and 1 second, and you watch the length change before you confirm. Drawings travel with the clip so they stay on the same images, and at the end the program tells you how many it moved and how many fell outside - make the preview smaller, five steps down to 39%, so the preview and the list of clips fit on the same screen. The size you choose is still there next time PLAYBOOK - closing a line is clear now: while a line is open, under the court it says how to close it. A double click closes it, and clicking the last point again closes it too. Same for movement, pass, dribble and screen - a line drawn with three clicks now passes through the middle point instead of curving around it PRINTED SHEETS - the numbers in the advanced table no longer break in two - the advanced band and the minutes line are not printed at all when there is no number to put in them All the new wording is in twelve languages.

VIDEO PLAYBOOK — the real clip on top, the diagram underneath, one single video at the end. Watch the opponents' play. Where something happens, pause, draw what happened — on the players above, on the diagram below — and carry on. Every pause is a phase. At the end you export one video: the clip on top and the play building underneath, in motion. - the players follow the paths of the arrows you drew, at constant speed - the arrows fade as they are travelled, so the court stays readable - the hand-off passes the ball to the other player - the black bands of the clip are cropped automatically - a time bar under the clip - archive: plays are saved with the team and reopened whenever you want PLAYBOOK — which way the court faces is now a setting of the whole sheet: basket at the top or at the bottom, the same for every box, and it stays as you leave it. You find it in the top bar, next to "Print plays sheet". SCOUTING REPORT — better handling and layout of the data the AI fills in, and now you decide what ends up on the sheet. - the printed sheet is no longer cut off at the edge - the type stays the same size whether the boxes are full or empty: no more huge letters when a figure is missing - any box can be removed, and the + adds a new one — on all three pages - every figure can be typed in by hand or overwritten, titles included: keep the starting five if that is what matters to you, drop what does not - what you wrote by hand is never overwritten when new data comes in Also: clips no longer stutter when they are cut. Cutting used to be recorded live, so a slower computer lost frames and overshot the end of the cut. Now frames are taken one by one and nothing is lost.

VDM now works with AI. The program does not download anything by itself: it writes the request for YOUR AI, the one you already use every day. You copy it, paste it, and the AI does the searching and prepares the file. VDM reads it and fills in rosters, jersey numbers, photos, statistics, advanced statistics, play types and lineups, in the player cards and in the scouting report. Nothing to activate, and you are not tied to any provider. - USE AI button in Personnel and in the Scouting Report: tick what you need and copy the request, already written with the team name. - Choose how many games: last 5, last 10, current season, last season. - AI DATA: link a folder once and every file your AI saves in there lands in the program by itself. - Whatever the AI cannot find, you type yourself: advanced statistics and play types, on the player card and on the team sheet. - Personnel and Scouting Report print on one page or two.

Tag the game in full screen. The film fills the screen, the timeline and Start/End stay below, and the moment you press End the translucent tags appear: players on top, offence on the left, defence on the right, the court free in the middle. Play sections. Next to the name you write the sections, separated by commas - "Transition, Middle Pick" - and that play shows up under all of them in the library. One library across all your teams. The same play has different names in different teams: one calls it "3", another calls it "L", but it's the same Double High. Give them the same section and you see them side by side; click one from another team and you get a copy in the sheet you're working on, with the name you choose. The original stays where it is. Play order on the sheet. Two arrows on every row: the play you call first comes first. They don't print. From the animated play window, the Video button exports the animation as a film to send to your players.

Version 3.7.28: new Animated 3D Playbook. From any Playbook diagram, "Animate in 3D" builds the animated play with 3D players and basket, and cuts, dribbles, screens and passes in motion; rotate the court and export a video for your team. Available in all 12 languages.
