The biggest update since launch: new ways for the sea to behave, sound for the first time, and a long list of fixes from what players hit on their phones. NEW WAYS TO PLAY - Charted Waters: levels now have a shape. A narrow chimney can flood while the bay beside it is still open water. - Neap Tide: levels where the sea brings only a handful of letters, so the puzzle is what you can still make from them. - Salvage Chunks: driftwood tiles carrying whole syllables like TH, ING, QU and EST that join straight into your word. - Beachcomber's Album: four pages and 48 words to find, and every finished page pays out. Words you found before this update already count. - Tide Streak: clean runs now build toward a reward. - The top bar now says what each level wants: REACH 240 PTS, CLEAR 7 ICE and so on. - New rows set up real words running up, down and diagonally, not only left to right. SOUND, FINALLY Every letter you add plays the next note up a scale, so a long word climbs as you trace it. The Sound and Haptics switches in Settings now work. THE SEA ITSELF - The waterline is a real surface that rises with the tide and dips into every column you clear. - A redesigned home screen: the water column you are descending, with your depth marked on it. FIXES - The board keeps its size and place after an ad. It could shrink, or slide down under the booster buttons, after you watched one. - Continuing after an ad gives you a whole board back: no holes in the bottom row, and always a word to make. - The tap that closes an ad can no longer land on Retry and restart the level you just continued. - Fast swipes along the bottom row pick up every tile, even when your finger runs below the board. - Clear the board to the floor and new rows arrive at once instead of waiting on the tide. - An invalid word no longer shakes the board. - The Ebb booster no longer wipes out a column, and an Ebb that completes a dig objective now finishes the level. - Freeze no longer runs down while the game is paused or an ad is playing. - The shop no longer takes coins for a booster you already have 99 of. - Reset Progress now keeps the coins and boosters you paid for. - A quick double tap can no longer spend a coin continue or claim the daily reward twice. - Finishing a level with no lives left takes you to the map instead of leaving you stuck. - Boss levels always pay both of their booster rewards. - Endless mode's letter objectives now use every letter in the pool. - Coin packs grant up to 3.5x more than before. - Buttons are bolder and better spaced, and a rewarded ad that fails to load now says so. OPTIONAL REMINDERS The Notifications switch in Settings now works: at most two reminders a day, scheduled on your device only. Ignore three and they stop on their own.

Every letter you add plays the next note up a pentatonic scale, so a long word climbs as you trace it — you hear the length before you see the score. THE SEA ITSELF • The waterline is a real surface now: a curve across the tops of the stacks that rises with the tide and dips into every column you've cleared. • Water rises visibly up the board instead of a flat line marking the top. • Redesigned home screen — the empty space is now the water column you're descending, with your depth marked on it. FIXES • The bottom row lets you trace properly. Words that started or ended on the last row could be cut short if your finger drifted below the board. Fixed. • Clear the board to the floor and new rows arrive immediately instead of leaving you waiting on the tide timer. Playing well is no longer punished with waiting. • An invalid word no longer shakes the whole board — the trace just goes slack. Reaching for a word that might not exist is the game; it shouldn't feel like a penalty. • Coin packs grant up to 3.5x more than before. The old amounts were not worth their price. • Buttons are properly outlined, bolder and better spaced throughout. • Rewarded-ad failures now say what went wrong instead of silently doing nothing. OPTIONAL REMINDERS The Notifications toggle in Settings finally does something. Two reminders a day at most, scheduled entirely on your device — no account, no server, nothing leaves your phone. Ignore them three times and they stop on their own.
