Sensecast 1.1.0 — the biggest update yet. HAZARD MAP (PRO) A new full-screen map layers every hazard feed onto one view: SPC storm reports and the Day 1 convective outlook, NWS warning polygons, USGS earthquakes, NASA FIRMS fire detections, GDACS cyclone tracks, county-level power outages, the SWPC aurora oval and nearby tide stations. A layers sheet toggles each feed and remembers your selection between launches, a 24-hour / 3-day / 7-day window scopes the time-aware layers, tapping a feature opens a details sheet with attribution, and a collapsible legend explains every colour on screen. WEATHER WALLPAPER (PRO) Your wallpaper can follow the weather: 44 scenes matched to the current condition and time of day — dawn, day, sunset, night — so it always agrees with the app. All six canvas styles are offered: Dynamic, Clean Weather Sky, Atmosphere (the photographic sky plates), Custom Photo, OLED stealth black, and the verified downloadable Photo pack. The wallpaper only changes when the scene does, and a "Get Sensecast Wallpaper" Shortcuts action enables scheduled or Focus-triggered changes. TIDES (PRO) Pro locations show the tide picture on the dashboard — the next high or low with a live countdown, a 24-hour curve and the reporting station. The full Tides screen carries a 48-hour view, a 7-day highs/lows table, and observed water level against the prediction where stations publish it. U.S. coasts use NOAA CO-OPS; everywhere else uses TideSpy. PRO ACCOUNTS Email sign-in is live: purchases made on the web unlock Pro on every signed-in device, and verified store receipts attach to your account automatically. The membership card names your plan, the day the paid period ends — "Never expires" for lifetime — and your device count, and Manage Subscription routes to the store you actually bought through. WIDGET COLOUR THEMES (PRO) Home-screen widgets can wear Dark Slate, Cyber Cyan, Solar Warmth, OLED Black or Aurora Teal — or keep following the weather for free. Each widget's theme is independent via Edit Widget. Sensecast v1.0.2 - Bug fixes: • Scheduled briefings now ask for notification permission when you turn them on. Previously iOS could silently drop every briefing when permission was missing — the switch stayed on and nothing ever arrived. • If notifications are off, the app now says so and opens system settings to the right page instead of pretending the briefing was scheduled. "Send a test briefing" does the same. • Briefings now appear even while the app is open — including the test-briefing preview, which iOS used to swallow silently. • The briefing scheduler no longer disables itself for the rest of the session after a timezone lookup failure. • Contact Support diagnostic logs now include the install ID, so support can match your report to your purchase. The Pro Hub fingerprint button that copies it is now available to everyone, and confirms with "Device ID copied" without showing the ID itself.

Sensecast 1.0.1: • Weather data providers are now told which build is calling them. The User-Agent said "1.0" no matter which version you had installed, so NOAA, MET Norway and the rest could not tell builds apart or rate-limit them separately. • Plan cards in the paywall and onboarding show every price in your App Store currency, and the Annual Pass's saving is worked out from those prices. • The tornado tracker shows only published SPC reports and NWS warnings. It no longer places a made-up touchdown near you during a tornado alert, and the SPC risk level and tornado probability come from SPC's own outlook. • Weather, earthquake, wildfire and pressure alerts that couldn't show while notifications were off now arrive once you allow them, instead of being skipped for good. • New Time Zone setting: show times in your device's zone, the forecast city's zone, UTC, or any time zone, with daylight saving applied automatically. • Every number on screen now comes from a real weather source. When a source doesn't publish something, you'll see "—" instead of a filler value, and when a value comes from a different source, the app says so. • Bigger, easier-to-read icons, labels and buttons across the dashboard, including the Current Conditions tiles and every section's info button. • Fixed timezone bugs where hourly/daily forecast times, and the current weather icon/background, could be wrong for locations far from your own. • Nearly all of the app's text now follows your device language — Settings, onboarding, the Pro Hub, the paywall, the storm report, the widget gallery and every weather card. Spanish is included alongside English. • A storm report names a Primary Electric Utility only when the outage feed reports one for the county; otherwise it says "Not reported". The Power Grid widget and VoiceOver follow the same rule, so San Diego no longer shows PG&E. • A Tornado Watch no longer tells you to take shelter; only a Tornado Warning or a close, fresh report does. • No alerts arrive before setup is finished. • Canada GEM, Météo-France AROME, the UK Met Office, JMA and BOM are now free for everyone. They were also listed as Pro entries that returned the same data. Pro now covers ECMWF, HRRR and ICON. • 21 forecast sources, each one real and clearly labeled. • Hourly and 8-day forecast filters are now full-width controls that are easy to tap. • Wallpaper backgrounds and radar tiles use noticeably less memory and no longer distort on some screen sizes. • The Weather Academy now follows your language too — the everyday analogies, the scale bands and the long science explanations behind each topic, not only the labels around them. • Copying a storm report's Ref ID also copies its verify link. • Home Screen widgets and Live Activities work on iOS 16 and later. On older iOS versions they were missing. • Turning the Live Activity off and on no longer leaves two on the Lock Screen. • New Radar Map settings: rain or cloud layer, rain colors, layer opacity and map background. • Wind gusts and cloud cover are now real readings, not estimates. • Sharper radar map labels. Swiping over the dashboard radar now scrolls the page; tap the map to open the full radar. • Location search feels snappier and no longer fires a search on every keystroke. • A few things stay in English on purpose: the app's own name, the Pro and Full plan names, measurement units, and place names like a storm's name or a US county. • Pro's pressure alerts are called barometric pressure alerts, not "biometric". • The Large widget shows the coming hours and days, and widget forecasts start at the current hour. • The widget gallery preview no longer shows a sample tornado warning. • If the main radar server is down, the radar switches to a backup instead of showing an empty map. • US forecasts use the nearest National Weather Service station, with today's high and low from NWS data.
