API credentials are stored securely on your device using the iOS and iPadOS Keychain or encrypted local storage on Mac. Your history, templates, settings, and generated images are stored locally. When you generate or edit an image, NyxAstra sends the required prompt, generation settings, and reference images directly to the OpenAI or Azure OpenAI endpoint you configured. NyxAstra asks for permission before the first provider request and never routes your content through Gavin Schnee Studio. API usage fees are charged directly by your selected AI provider according to your provider account.
