"Our Aligner Log" is a free app that tracks how long you wear your orthodontic aligners, with just one tap. Your orthodontist often gives you a daily goal, such as "at least 20 hours a day," and how consistently you wear your aligners is often said to make a big difference in how treatment goes. But writing down and adding up wear time every day is hard for kids and parents alike. Just tap "Start" when you put them in and "Stop" when you take them out. Your daily wear time is recorded automatically. Great for families helping a child through treatment, and for adults too. ■ 3 easy steps 1. Put in your aligner and tap "Start" 2. Take it out and tap "Stop" 3. Your wear time for the day adds up automatically While you wear it, the time is shown live, so you can see how much longer to go today. ■ 3 screens - Log: Big Start / Stop buttons, the current wear time, and today's total. - Summary: Wear time for each day on a calendar. Change times, or add and delete records by hand. - Chart: A color-in chart with one row per day. Boxes fill with color for the time you wore it, so kids can see their effort and stay motivated. On iPad, you can see a whole month of the chart at once without scrolling. ■ Forgot to tap Start or Stop? No problem Use "Pick when you put it in" to start from an earlier time (15 min, 30 min, or 1 hour ago, or a date and time within the last 48 hours). Fix long records from the Summary calendar. Records that go past midnight are counted correctly for each day. ■ Save and share the chart as a picture Save the chart as an easy-to-read image with the month and year. Print it or send it from the share sheet, so it's handy at orthodontist visits. Put it on the fridge and cheer each other on! ■ Sync with your family (cloud sync) Put a record file in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or Google Drive to share the same records on more than one device. Record on your child's device and check on a parent's iPhone or iPad. Just tap "Connect to the cloud" on the Summary screen and choose where to keep the file in the Files app. You don't need an account for this app. You can also move data with "Share" and "Import", which works as a backup when you change devices. ■ Private and safe - Records are saved on your device and never sent to the developer's servers - Optional cloud sync only uses the cloud file you choose yourself - No sign-up, no ads, no in-app purchases. Free - No access to unrelated information such as your location or contacts ■ Tips - Use brushing your teeth as your cue to tap Start / Stop - Check today's total together before bed - Send the chart picture to your family group chat at the end of the month - Available in Japanese, English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. The app follows your device's language, and you can also choose one in the Summary tab ■ FAQ Q. Where is my data saved? A. On your device. With optional cloud sync, it is also saved to a file in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar that you chose. It is never sent to the developer's servers. Q. Changes from another device don't show up right away. A. It can take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on when your cloud storage app syncs. Try "Sync now" on the Summary screen. Q. Some short records are not saved. A. To avoid recording accidental taps, wear times under 1 minute are not saved. Q. Can I use it for retainers? A. Yes. You can track wear time for retainers and other appliances, too. Q. Which devices are supported? A. iPhone and iPad (iOS / iPadOS 15.0 or later). It works the same on both. Q. Can I set a wear-time goal? A. Not right now. The app focuses on recording and showing your wear time. Your feedback helps us improve.
