This update fixes the "the mosque finder doesn't find mosques near me" defect users reported, plus several serious issues affecting the worship record: • The mosque finder now asks the device where you are. Previously the radar searched around the coordinates of the city you had once SELECTED and never asked the device: anyone who tapped "continue with Istanbul" during onboarding, or set their location months ago, saw that old city's mosques listed as "mosques near you". Worse, nothing on screen said which point was being searched, so the error was invisible. Now the device is asked first, the saved city is used only as a fallback, and the radar states plainly which one it used. • Prayer order at high latitudes: near the poles, Isha could fall AFTER the next day's Fajr. Night length was computed as if tomorrow's sunrise were at today's time; in spring, day length changes by up to 20 minutes a day, so the estimate ran longer than the real night. The night is now measured properly and the Fajr and Isha portions share it. • Qada tracking and the device clock: if the device date was moved forward and then corrected, settlement silently stopped until real time caught up — up to 59 days. It now recovers on its own. • Ads: the "no ads around prayer times" rule now covers the rewarded video too. The bottom banner also hides when a prayer time arrives while the app is open, and returns once the window passes. • Spanish home-screen texts were missing and fell back to English — added. • City search and Quran text were decoded with the wrong character set for some server responses and saved that way on the device ("KahramanmaraÅŸ" instead of "Kahramanmaraş"). This update fixes serious defects affecting prayer time accuracy and the adhan: • Time zone in Türkiye: for users whose location is detected automatically, 46 province capitals could resolve to a neighbouring country's time zone. Because Türkiye dropped daylight saving in 2016 and its neighbours did not, the error appeared in WINTER and shifted every prayer time by one hour. Fixed — all 81 provinces are now correct, including İzmir, Antalya, Konya, Adana, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Trabzon, Erzurum, Van and Diyarbakır. • The adhan was silent in some cities: where Isha falls after local midnight (Paris, Helsinki and high-latitude cities), that notification was scheduled but then removed when the queue was rebuilt. The countdown showed the prayer; the adhan never sounded. • Mecca, Medina and Jeddah now resolve to the correct time zone. • Audio: sound from the tab you left kept playing in the background, and recitation was inaudible while the phone's silent switch was on. Both fixed. Only one sound plays at a time, an incoming call pauses it, and unplugging headphones no longer sends audio to the speaker. • The app no longer starts ambient sound by itself at launch. • Worship record protection: a single corrupt entry could erase your prayer history or count prayers you had performed as missed. The record is now protected by a recovery mode. • Ad rules on the Qibla and Quran screens were tightened, and ad content is capped at the general-audience rating. This update fixes issues found in 1.1.0: • The launch screen filled only a strip of the display on some devices; it now opens full screen. • Asr: with the "Türkiye Takvimi" and "Karachi" methods, Asr was not calculated using that calendar's own convention — a drift of up to 40 minutes. Existing installs on those methods are corrected automatically. • The Qibla compass no longer claims you are aligned while sensor accuracy is too low. • Adhan notifications: in some Pacific time zones the current day's prayers were never scheduled. • Ramadan: with the Umm al-Qura method, Isha was not receiving the adjustment it requires during Ramadan. • City search: in countries with several time zones (Kazan, Kashgar, Lhasa) the wrong zone could be chosen. • High latitudes: in Reykjavík and similar cities iftar could be shown before sunset. • The pre-prayer reminder arrived silently on iPhone. • The location permission text now states plainly that coordinates are sent to a map service to resolve your city name. This update fixes real issues reported by users: • Nearby mosques: when the map server was busy, the app quietly said "no mosques found". It now fails over to backup servers automatically, so nearby mosques are listed correctly in every city. • City name: the location card now shows your actual city instead of a generic "Current location" label. • Prayer times: times are now calculated from your location's real time zone, so they no longer drift when you travel or change cities. • Qibla compass: it no longer claims you are aligned while sensor accuracy is too low — it asks you to calibrate first. • Adhan notifications: fixed a bug that caused some upcoming reminders not to be scheduled. • General stability and performance improvements.
