Colorful World 1.6.0 THE COUNTRY IS THE SCORE AGAIN Every country carries its own music again, not the two shared beds — an accordion waltz in France, Spanish guitar in Spain, Andean flutes in Peru. THE LOCK SCREEN IS YOURS AGAIN Opening the game no longer puts a "Not Playing" panel on your lock screen or displaces whatever you were already listening to. The music now plays a way that takes no media slot at all, and it still stops when you leave the app and picks up where it left off when you come back. EVERY BOARD ASKS A REAL QUESTION The twenty gentlest boards are off the front of the pool. On those, exactly one path existed between any two squares, so there was no routing decision to make. The first board that genuinely makes you choose is now the fifth, not the twenty-fifth. Your progress carries across — the boards you cleared are still cleared. Four places at the far end of the map read "Not charted yet" for now. THE LESSON IS THE GESTURE The opening board no longer explains itself in words. A step counter, a coach plate, a goal plate and a dashed trail are all gone; what is left is a much larger drawn hand showing the one thing that is not obvious — you get a line by putting a finger down and keeping it down. The lesson also waits for you now instead of finishing the line itself after nine seconds. HINTS ARE BOUGHT A hint used to arrive free with every level you cleared, which meant the price was never really a decision. Hints now come from two places only: the five a new game starts with, and the shop. Day 7 of the check-in pays coins instead. THE DAILY CHALLENGE OPENS SOONER Three levels solved instead of fifteen, so the daily board is in reach in your first session or two. FIXED - One shot's rule bar promised "every line you draw, you keep", which was never true — dragging back over your own path always retracted it. The bar now says what the rule does. - The daily reminder arrives at 14:00, at the leading edge of the day's play, instead of 19:00 when most of it is already over. - The level title sat slightly high on Android devices with system text scaling set below 100%.

Colorful World 1.5.0 iPhone catches up: this update carries everything added since launch, not just the newest part. If you last played 1.0.0, all of the below is new. THE RULE CHANGED A line you draw now cuts through any line in its way, and the line it crosses gives way. Starting dots are the one thing it cannot cut. The board is no longer about threading around your own work — it is about choosing what to cross. UNDO, AND HINTS IN PACKS An Undo disc sits on the play bar and takes back your last line. Hints are bought one at a time, five at a time, or twenty. A DAILY CHALLENGE One board a day, drawn from the hardest tiers in the game, under a rule that rotates through five: no hints, one shot with no undo, flawless where redrawing a line ends the run, beat the clock, or simply the biggest board there is. Everyone gets the same board under the same rule. It has its own screen now, and each rule wears its own picture. A TRAVEL JOURNAL All 40 places across 19 countries wear their own photograph, and the boards, cards and buttons are drawn to match: brass frames, paper cards, one gold and one brass. A PROFILE, AND LEADERBOARDS Pick a portrait, choose your name, and carry the rank you have earned. Your rank now moves as you play instead of waiting for the next launch. THE CLOCK IS A RULE OR IT IS NOTHING Ordinary levels are no longer timed. The seconds used to be the largest part of what a clear paid without any board ever saying so. Time now exists only in the daily's Beat the clock, where there is a limit to beat. FIRST RUN IS A PLAYED LEVEL The opening hands you a board and teaches the gesture on it, instead of three pages of rules. Settings' How to play now runs that same lesson. A BIGGER CELEBRATION A reward flies from the card that named it to the pill that keeps it. Confetti in the game's own path colours, a moulded gold PERFECT, and your points and coins together on one pill. TWO TRACKS, NOT NINETEEN The score is one track for the board and one for everywhere else, plus two celebration cues. FIXED - The daily's Big board rule served 4 of its 20 boards on a 20-day loop. All 20 are reachable now. - The hint bulb told a board with a square still on it that it was complete. - The music kept playing after you left the app. It now stops with the app, and picks up where it left off when you come back. - A celebration cue carried on over the first levels of a newly opened place. - The music was audible underneath the level-complete and new-place cues. - Every painted mark on the board was drawing at the wrong size. - The daily's clear card offered "More challenges" to a screen that has none. - "Congratulations!" was never actually centred. - The level number sat slightly high in its pill. - Settings is a gear on Home, and there is one way out of every sheet.
