HOW IT PLAYS
Aim with the mouse or A and D, drop with Space. Devices fall, roll, and settle where physics puts them. Two matching devices merge on contact and the new one drops into the gap, which can set off a chain of merges you never planned. Let the pile cross the red line and the run ends.
Every run starts clean. Every run ends differently.
CLIMB THE CHAIN
Eleven tiers, each one a real piece of storage history:
8-inch floppy → 5.25-inch floppy → 3.5-inch floppy → CD → DVD → Blu-ray → USB drive → SD card → Hard drive → SATA SSD → NVMe SSD
Reaching the NVMe SSD takes 1,024 of the smallest device. Almost nobody gets there.
PLAY AGAINST SOMEONE
Two boards, side by side, same clock. Watch their pile grow while you fight your own. Match with a random opponent in seconds, or send a friend a five-letter code and start together.

CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD
Send your best run to the world list. The game gives you a callsign — SPINDLE-8CF, CLUSTER-1F0 — and your score stands next to everyone else's.
TAP TO LEARN
Tap any device in the chain to see when it appeared and how fast it really was. The 8-inch floppy held 80 KB and moved 33 KB per second. The NVMe SSD holds 4 TB and moves 7,000 MB per second. Fifty years of storage, one merge at a time.
