Mouse Scroll remembers each mouse and trackpad by name and gives each one its own settings. Set the mouse on your desk one way and your trackpad another, and both stay that way.
EVERY DEVICE BY NAME
Your devices appear by their own names, each with its own direction, speed, sideways key and buttons. The mouse on your desk doesn't have to match the one in your bag, and a touch mouse can be different again.
SCROLL AT YOUR SPEED
A multiplier from 0.25x to 5x. Turn it up to cross a long document in one flick, or down for slow, precise control. Fractions carry over, so even the lowest settings keep scrolling smoothly.
SCROLL SIDEWAYS
Hold a key of your choice — Option, Shift, Control or Command — and the wheel scrolls horizontally. Handy on a mouse with no tilt wheel.
CUSTOMIZE THE SPARE BUTTONS
Give the middle and side buttons a job: Mission Control, the app launcher, or back and forward. The left and right buttons are protected, so a mistake can never leave you unable to click.
QUIET AND PRIVATE
Mouse Scroll lives in the menu bar and stays out of the way. It reads scroll and button events only, and it contains no network code at all, so everything stays on your Mac. One purchase, yours for good.
Mouse Scroll asks for the Accessibility permission on first launch. That is what macOS requires before any app can adjust how scrolling behaves.
