New country: Spain! The directors' box is waiting. In Spain there are two ways into the chair: win the members' vote at a club they own, or buy a club that has become a company and run it as its owner. Being president comes at a price: while you sit in the chair, part of the club's annual revenue is held from your personal wealth as a guarantee, and when a term ends in the red, half the loss comes out of it. Twenty clubs in the shadow of two giants, three divisions, the cup and a four-team Super Cup. The league caps squad costs; when you hit the cap, sell a slice of your TV income or part of the commercial company and spend tomorrow's money today. Your star has a release clause: what will you do when a rich rival puts that money on the table? Promote the kid shining in your B team, or sell him at the first offer? The league will want to take one of your home games to America and move kick-offs to lunchtime for viewers in Asia. Your call. The game can now be played in Spanish too. League position now pays In England and Spain, part of the TV money is shared out at the end of the season by league position. The higher you finish, the more you earn. Currency Money can be shown in euros, pounds, dollars, yen or reais in every country. Change it in Settings. Other • Super Cup semi-finals and finals now make the headlines and the feed. • Contract renewals show more clearly what the player wants. • New icons for Turkey, England and Spain. Start a company You can now set up your own company with your personal wealth. Choose its name and sector; it can make a profit or a loss each season. Your company can sponsor the club or buy the stadium. A sponsorship deal far above the market rate, though, may cause you trouble later on. Land projects Build housing, offices, a shopping centre, a hotel or a solar farm on your land. Former owner in England Losing your club doesn't have to end your story there. Stay on, buy shares from small shareholders, take part in share issues and make the new owner an offer for their stake. Once you're the largest shareholder, you can call a general meeting and take back control. Or sell your stake and buy another club. Administration If the club can't pay its debts and is placed in administration, you can carry on as former chairman. Germany A chairman whose accounts are rejected can now stand again. If the accounts are rejected two years in a row, a vote to remove the board is held at the same meeting. State guarantees and new events have been added, and the relegation play-off now appears under its own name. Other • Your arch-rival no longer bids for your starting XI. • The club museum shows European trophies one by one. • The biggest club's star hands in a transfer request instead of saying he wants to join a bigger club. • In England, clubs promoted from non-league into the professional leagues can now be bought too. • European club names and colours have been updated. New country: England! This time you don't stand for election, you buy the club. Start as an Entrepreneur in the lower divisions, or own a big club with an Investor's or a Billionaire's fortune. Four divisions, the big cup, the league cup and the lower-league cup are waiting. An independent regulator watches the loss limit and the wage cap, and an owner with a small stake can have the club taken away. You can sell your club and move to another. Money can be shown in pounds if you like. Grants: get direct support for your club's coffers from the Finances screen. Before you buy, you see how the cash and your country's spending rule will change. More negotiation: contract renewals and incoming loan offers now have their own negotiation screen, and the other side tells you clearly when it has reached its final price. Change your club's colours from a 16-colour palette. National teams now have a profile too: a museum with World, continental and Nations League trophies. A new academy: talent comes from the country's pool, and the scouting network and academy staff really make a difference. New events include a kid who wants a first-team chance, a father asking for a promise, a trial invitation from abroad, a homesick youngster and a gem found by your scouts. In Germany the chairman's share purchase needs the members' approval, and you can sell your stake back. The former chairman's press statements and comeback forecast are more realistic. A player who can't settle may ask to leave, and a transfer-listed player now asks for termination only after the window closes. Match ratings and ticket demand have been rebalanced. Bug fixes: the national team screen in Germany opened Turkey's squad, substitutes counted as starters after loading a save, the squad row overflowed on narrow screens, and more.

New country: Germany! Ehrenpräsident, German football, is now part of the game. On the main menu, use the arrows beside the chair to pick the country you start your career in. In Germany you'll deal with the 50+1 rule, club licensing, fan culture, the Pokal and German clubs from the top flight down to the third tier, and you can even take charge of the Fußballverband. Each country keeps its own saves, and the packs you have bought work in both. In English, the game is now called The Big Chair. A new main menu: a flag chair for Turkey and Settings in the top left. Change team and competition names, the game's language and the app icon on your phone (Classic, Turkey, Germany) from Settings. The game can also be played in German. VoiceOver support for blind and visually impaired players: information is read out item by item, amounts such as transfer fees and wages can be adjusted by swiping and the new value is spoken, and goals and the score are announced during matches. The league table now shows European places, promotion and relegation in colour. The pre-match line-up view has been redesigned. European prize money has been rebalanced to fit the game's economy. Player and coach names are more varied, and the chairman editor has eye options and new hairstyles. Bug fixes: a player could still be sold after his contract was renewed without a release clause, an offer paid in instalments counted as paying the release clause, the wrong week in relegation news, and trophies only appearing on the chairman's profile at the end of the season.

Chairman profiles go deeper! The Ultras, Politician, Ex-Footballer and Tycoon chairmen now have their own events and effects that last a whole career: backing from the stands, doors opened by politics, old teammates and the demands that come with wealth. Club debts now reflect real figures. Claims from unpaid players and clubs go to the UFFB and, once the deadline passes, lead to transfer bans and points deductions; claims can be paid from the Debts screen. The Debts screen has been reworked: the Banks Association restructuring works like the real protocol (2-year grace period, 10 years in total), debts can be repaid early from the club’s cash, and the borrowing limit now depends on the club’s revenue and bank debt. The financial general assembly and the term report no longer count exchange-rate swings as new debt. Facility shortfalls you inherited when taking office no longer count against you either. When a star player wants a move to a bigger club, the decision is yours: sell him or keep him. Loan players no longer hand in transfer requests; if they are unhappy, they ask for the loan to be cut short. Sort the squad by contract, and see transfer fees in a player’s career history. Bug fixes: missing positions in the starting eleven, caretaker coaches appearing in the club’s coach history, the wrong competition table after European qualifying, small leftovers after repaying a debt early, and a release-clause signing being blocked by the arch-rival rule.

The road to Europe is now shaped by the country coefficient! Places are set by the country ranking each season; clubs go through qualifying and play-off rounds to reach the main stage. Follow the rankings on the Federation screen. The Bosman rule is here! You can agree terms for next season with players who have less than six months left on their contract. Rivals can sign players under the Bosman rule too: a player whose contract you don’t extend in time can leave on a free at the start of next season. The spending limit is now calculated differently: the average income and costs of the last three seasons, the club’s debt and an exchange rate fixed for the season. New sponsorships, player sales and European income raise the limit during the season. Properties and the euro term deposit are now held in euros, so their value no longer swings with the exchange rate. The lira term deposit has been removed; its balance has been moved to your personal funds in full. Fixed an issue where a loan player’s purchase option could not be exercised. The option can now be used from the loan player’s profile. League stats for players in foreign leagues are now recorded in full. Facility upgrade costs have been updated.

Rewrite history! You can now take the chairman's seat in past eras and steer seasons that already happened with your own decisions. With the 2010s pack you can pick any season from 2010/11 to 2019/20, with the 2020s pack any season from 2020/21 to 2025/26. Every season opens as it really was: that year's clubs, league structure, stadiums, foreign player rule, cup format, European competitions and economy. Museums and lists of champions follow the year you choose. When you reach 2026 your career carries straight on into the present day, and the future keeps being written by your decisions. Banks now lend more. Fixes: Tapping the advance button quickly in the Federation no longer skips weeks, and the foreign player rule warning no longer appears twice on the transfer screen.

Transfer frenzy: Fans now demand signings! Each summer the stands set their hearts on a star. Deliver and the club celebrates; fail, or watch him join your fiercest rival, and the board takes the blame. Club anniversaries: Your club's milestone years are celebrated on the home screen and in the news. Many language improvements throughout the game. Bug fixes and improvements.
