The Sky Finder now includes your real local horizon. • Real terrain on your skyline: Instead of a generic flat horizon, the app now maps the elevation around you so you can see exactly when the sun dips behind local hills and mountains. • Peak names and elevations: Look at any summit on your horizon to see its name and true altitude relative to where you are standing. • Vantage Map: Discover nearby spots ranked by how much extra sunset or sunrise you will get by climbing them. • Offline maps: Download elevation data for your area so your horizon keeps working deep in the backcountry with no cell service. • Fixed a crash that could occasionally happen while terrain files were downloading.

The Sky Finder has grown a horizon. • Your real skyline. Instead of a flat line, the app now draws the terrain around you from downloaded elevation data, so you can see which ridge the sun still has to clear before it reaches you. • Named summits. The peaks on that skyline carry their names and their heights — Mont Blanc de Courmayeur at 4,748 m, Mount Rinjani at 3,726 m — worked out for the ground you are standing on rather than for the centre of the Earth. • Vantage Map. The ridges and lookouts within your chosen radius, ranked by how much more sunset or sunrise each one would give back, with the distance and the gain both shown before you set out. • Terrain you can keep. Choose an area of thirty, sixty or two hundred kilometres, download its elevation once, and the horizon works with no signal at all. • Fixed a crash that could strike while terrain tiles were downloading in the background.
