3D School Library Simulation Game Library Smash is a 3D job simulation game set in a Hong Kong secondary school library. The recess bell rings, students pour into the library, and the tasks begin piling up. Players are responsible for the library’s daily operations, handling book loans and returns, overdue fines, book requests, shelving, photocopying, digital services and more, all within a limited time. Meanwhile, they must also deal with disruptive behaviour, lost property, equipment failures and other unexpected situations. With tasks arriving one after another, players must decide what to prioritise while balancing waiting times, efficiency and accuracy to keep the library running smoothly. • Simulate Real Library Workflows Scan student cards and book barcodes, process borrowing and return records, collect overdue fines, repair damaged books, and prepare new books by labelling, covering and shelving them. • Learn Book Classification and Retrieval Find, arrange and shelve books by call number using the Dewey Decimal Classification and the New Classification Scheme for Chinese Libraries developed by Lai Yung-hsiang. • Provide a Wide Range of Library Services Beyond working at the circulation desk, players must also handle photocopying, faxing, digital platform logins, emails, instant messages and other services. • Put Your Judgement and Time Management to the Test Every task has a time limit. Players must assess the situation and prioritise their workload to prevent students from waiting too long or important matters from being overlooked. • Multiple Game Modes Learn each library task step by step through Level Mode, then take on Daily Challenges and compete for higher scores in specially designed scenarios. • An Authentic Hong Kong School Setting The game recreates the environment, workflows and everyday situations of a Hong Kong secondary school library, highlighting the complexity and importance of library work. • Hands-On 3D Interaction Move freely around the 3D library and operate scanners, photocopiers, computers, book trolleys and other equipment, completing every task through realistic, step-by-step actions.
