Most cat games move prey at a fixed speed with random turns — a clever cat cracks the pattern in a few rounds and walks away. CatHunt flips it: the prey learns your cat. ■ PREY THAT LEARNS The prey remembers your cat's favorite paw, strike direction and reaction time, and changes its escape strategy once it has seen enough of your cat's swipes. The better your cat gets, the trickier the prey becomes. All learning stays on this device — nothing is uploaded. ■ ZERO ADS DURING PLAY Ads never appear while your cat is playing. A cat can't understand an ad — one interruption and it loses interest in the whole game. Ads live only on the owner's pages, and only when the owner taps them. Every second your cat plays is a clean hunting ground. ■ 8 PREY, 8 REAL BEHAVIOR ENGINES Free forever: mouse, koi, laser dot, feather wand. Advanced: sparrow, gecko, tiger beetle, moth. Each prey has its own habitat and behavior grounded in animal research. The gecko drops its tail when caught — the tail keeps wriggling and can be caught again. The tiger beetle sprints so fast it goes momentarily blind, forcing a stop-look-sprint rhythm — that's biology, not design. The sparrow really flies off screen and returns where you least expect. ■ NEW PREY ADDED OVER TIME Nature, bugs and toys take turns: bubbles, a water drop, ants, a firefly, a plastic bag and a juice glass are already on the schedule. The home screen shows when the next one opens, and one tap sets a reminder for opening day. You can even vote on what gets built next. ■ DESIGNED FOR CAT VISION Cats see blue and yellow-green best; red reads as dark gray to them. The whole game is tuned to feline color science — even the five laser colors are honestly labeled by how well YOUR CAT can actually see them. ■ BEDTIME HUNT: FEWER 3AM ZOOMIES A 7-minute guided hunt that tapers in intensity, ends on a "give a treat now" prompt, then dims the screen. Chase → catch → eat → sleep: a complete hunting cycle that builds a wind-down ritual and cuts down the midnight crazies. ■ iPad IS THE HOME FIELD, NOT A STRETCHED PHONE The wide field has its own mechanics: place seed patches so the sparrow lands to peck, add burrows for the mouse, open crevices for the gecko, or add a second prey. Every field can be decorated — cardboard box, lily pads, curtain, rock ledge, vines, grass, yarn balls. ■ THE OWNER'S WAR ROOM Weekly hunt reports: sessions, playtime, hit rate, daily activity, and your cat's own peak hunting hours. Hunter ranks, milestone achievements, and one-tap share cards. ■ YOU VOTE FOR THE NEXT PREY Built-in voting — the first candidate to reach 1,000 votes gets built.
