Copitou keeps everything you copy, and keeps it tidy.
Your history is organized by type - links, text, code, images, colors, files - with instant search, pins and a preview panel. Text in images is recognized locally: find a screenshot by searching the words it contains.
The Safe watches over your secrets. A copied API key or token is detected and stored in the macOS Keychain, behind Touch ID - never in the clear in your history. About twenty services are recognized automatically, and once a value is in the Safe it never enters the history in the clear again, even when copied anew. Repeat copies are counted, not duplicated, and deletion truly erases: the database is compacted and deleted content is overwritten.
Copitou copies, you paste: ⌘V stays yours, and no system permission is ever requested. No network, no telemetry, no data collection - everything stays on your Mac.
Copitou is built on the open source Maccy foundation (MIT license), deeply reworked: the window, the Safe, deduplication and true erasure are Copitou's own.
