Day to Day Match 3

No lives, no timers, no losing

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Built for someone who could not wait out a countdown. No lives, no timers, no ads, no purchases, and no way to lose. Play for one minute or for an hour. My wife with Alzheimer's played match-three games. When she ran out of lives she would sit holding the phone, watching a countdown, waiting to be allowed to play again. I am a mobile app engineer, so I built her a game that never stops. No lives, no timers, no ads, no purchases, no way to lose. By the time I had a working game, she could no longer play. I started this for her and finished it for you. WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT IT • No lives and no countdown. It is always your turn. • No way to lose. If the board runs out of moves it quietly reshuffles itself. • No ads and no purchases. Nothing is sold inside this app. • No account, no sign-in, no data collected. COMFORT, NOT DIFFICULTY Most games get harder. This one gets gentler if you want it to. One control changes everything at once: • Full Bloom — the whole garden, all five colors. • Easy Breeze — a calmer board with more room to breathe. • Open Sky — fewer colors, larger pieces, and shapes as well as color so the pieces can be told apart without relying on color vision. You can change it at any time, and change it back. A DAY THAT ALWAYS FINISHES A sun crosses the top of the board to show how far through the day you are. Evening comes, then night, then morning. Nothing is lost overnight and nothing expires. The day always finishes, however slowly you play. MADE FOR THE PERSON, NOT THE METRIC • Large pieces and generous touch targets. • A gentle hint if the board sits untouched — never a nag. • Sound and music that follow your play rather than a soundtrack that loops. • Haptics that can be turned off. • Everything is one tap from the board. Nothing is buried. FOR CAREGIVERS If you are caring for someone living with dementia, this is meant to be handed over without a briefing. There is no menu to explain, no way to break it, and no way to get stuck. More at daytodaydementia.com — peer support and plain answers for caregivers.
